EXCLUSIVE: HHS Bankrolled Catholic and Baptist Church from 2010 to 2013 to Prepare for Obama’s 2014 Invasion!

A month or two ago news broke that Obama’s HHS was calling for private contractors to help transport illegal aliens throughout the interior United States. What made this already big news even bigger is the fact that the original call for proposals came out in January, long before the bulk of the illegal alien surge began.

The breaking news you’re about to read is ten times bigger, because the following proves the Obama administration was bankrolling America’s churches back in 2010. And the tens of millions were flowing in to prepare for the invasion currently underway.

The following is a small taste of what’s out there in grant records. This is just the tip of the iceberg, folks.

Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”

Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”

Between September 2010 and September 2013, the Catholic Charities of Dallas received $823,658 from the Department of Homeland Security for “Citizenship Education Training” for “refugee and entrant assistance.”

From Dec 2012 to January 2014, Baptist Child & Family Services received $62,111,126 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.”

Any questions?

Where is the documentation to back up these numbers and statements? They would be extremely useful in taking Obama down if you had copies to share with media sources!!

I downloaded the doc, but can’t open it.

Use WordPad. Be prepared for your blood to boil – it’s an RFP for complete contractor services – medical, transportation, language, housing, feeding, etc. for up to 65,000 kids. Amazing that we just so happen to have almost that many coming across the border all of a sudden–

          • justlisa

I’m on my android and don’t have options on what to open it with…just says that it can’t open it.

Then use a computer, like normal people.

          • Anne Long

I went there, and all showed nothing of what you say, I had lists of all kinds of stuff grants etc but nothing specific on this..,, can you guide me better??

Look for the link that says “Juvenile_Transport_RFI_(TONY_Edits_1_29_14).docx” – then open that in WordPad. It has the details of the RFP

          • Veritas

Learn to do some research! The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s own financial report (the 2012 financials are available on their website) shows the actual amounts they received from federal programs. The contract solicitations are just a drop in the bucket when compared to the actual amounts they received. What really strikes me as funny is that most of the people who question this information or defend it in some way would probably be the first in line yelling separation of church and state if the city hall puts up a nativity scene

          • Todd Clemmer

          • MargaretJacobson

I first started complaining when the federal government first funded head start programs. I felt that churches were creating a problem further down the road. When a lot of these churches took the money, food stamps they set themselves up to be used for more things later. I feel that city hall can put up a nativity scene or Santa Claus. It is their choice.

          • creeper

And the sad part is that Head Start is an ongoing failure.

          • SWohio

Excellent point, but the churches are as guilty of hypocrisy as are the libs.

Obama abuses them at every turn and they take his money and help him out with his planned invasion.

          • Sara B

Indeed and those same people are suing the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide abortifacients to their employees.

          • James Bruce Henderson

If you really know what you are looking at, you will see that that PROPOSAL is for a 5 year transportation contract – indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery. That number is certainly reflecting an upswing in numbers, but not the quite 65k per year folks a squalling about.

          • SWohio

Never have more than 2000 alien children sneaked thru our border in any given year until now. 2000/year for 5 years does not come close to 65,000.

However, the sudden HUGE influx of them has gotten pretty close to 65,000 already since January. That’s why obama needs more money – his estimates about how many would respond to his invite, were a bit low.

Keep right on trying one excuse after another to convince yourself that obama has not been planning and orchestrating the invasion of his own country since 2010.

There is a special name for presidents who do that.

And a special name for those who provide cover for him.

          • Scrap Iron

That guy is posting nonsense. He did that on another site and I pointed out that he was wrong.

It was a request (RFI) for a 1 year contract for 65,000 and an option for 4 more years of an undefined quantity.

          • Scrap Iron

No, It was a request for a 1 year contract for 65,000 and an option for 4 more years of an undefined quantity.

        That doesn’t list the vendors/sources. That’s just a PO.

        • SWohio

Nothing strikes you as a little odd that the government in January was trying to find escorts for 65,000 (note the number) of unaccompanied alien children, when until now there have never been over 2000 in a year?

          • CrazyAuntJane

The whole think seems unreal! I still can’t get a grip about what is really going on! All I can figure is that the great “O” has found one more way to hurt America! Or is something going on and this is getting the attention so we won’t noitice?

      • faxxmaxx

That link opens to the ad for transporting these kids. Is there no link proving that this money was paid to the churches?

Its your question, you do the leg work and get back to the rest of us. I do know that Catholic Universities have been receiving Government Grants for a number of years now. Would it be so difficult to give it to a Catholic church vs a Catholic University. I don’t think so. Homework needs to be done. Where is the ACLU?

      • SWohio

Have any of these government grants been earmarked for ‘THE UNACCOMPANIED ALIEN CHILDREN PROJECT’?

These churches are unfit to serve God. They have sold their souls to Obama. They have betrayed this country to serve that communist in the Oval Office. May their parishioners choke on their 30 pieces of silver.

    • Denise Perez

It Obama that sold his soul for what greater prize than a Muslim to be President of a Christian nation.

      • tiamariedunn

Wow.. you do realize we have no national religion, right? Yay America, home of the judgemental and incredibly hypocritical. One point about Christianity is that you shuoldn’t worry about helping yourself as much as helping others… yet we’re all afraid that “illegal aliens” aka humans just like you and I will come and reap all the benefits of this county? So so sad.

        • Billy V

The USA cannot force a religion on you, however, this country was founded on Christian values, and the vast majority of its citizens are Christians. You are correct in that helping others is a key facet of Christian faith. I frequently help people, but not people who are breaking in to my house. This country won’t have benefits much longer if people can break in and demand the same benefits that people like myself have paid in to the system for 40 years to receive. If you want to see the result of your kind of thinking, please look at Greece. I think you are confusing the issue. Giving is a personal decision you make with your own money, time, etc., not a government spending $10 for every $5 it takes in, then sending the bill to my kids and grandkids. Money is flowing out of the government coffers faster than it is flowing in. This only makes it worse. It is unfortunate for those who want to come here, but resources are limited. That’s the way it is.

          • kathin9

89 million people in the u.s. are evangelical or consider themselves re born Christians of these 89 MILLION 22 Million of them voted for the dim wit Obama. Hypocrites? Yes I live on the border in deep south Texas and the head Catholic down here told our over 98% HISPANIC populace to not vote for Obama because of is stance on Abortion and Marriage. What were the results in 2012 elections? 65% of them voted democrat, HYPOCRITES? You decide. But Free stuff was of the upmost importance.

          • Dana Davis

We are all Christians in the US by default; whether one actually believes or not is irrelevant..

        • Rocky

No, I’m not “afraid” they will come and reap the benefits, I’m mad as hell because they are here reaping said benefits. I’m mad as hell because they are a drain on our society both directly and indirectly.

Indirectly, every job one of these individuals takes is a job that a US citizen could have had. Every grant dollar spent on raising one of these ILLEGAL children is a dollar that could have been spent raising an American child. Every grant dollar spent educating one of these ILLEGAL children, is a dollar that could have been spent raising an American child. Every dollar spent treating these ILLEGAL children, could be saved, along with the billions of dollars and countless lost lives that the communicable diseases they bring to this country will cost us all. This list could go on and on, but maybe you are beginning to see the light.

Directly, every dollar spent arresting, processing, transporting, housing, examining, treating, feeding, educating, etc. etc. etc. on these individuals, is a dollar that could have been spent on a US Citizen. A dollar that I and other US Citizens earned and were deprived of by our elected idiots in Federal Government. A dollar that they did not earn, and will never replace. It’s gone, wasted on their criminal action.

I’m mad as hell, because our elected idiots in Federal Government seem to think for some reason, that it is perfectly OK for 13 million ILLEGAL ALIENS to break the law by coming to this country, to take jobs away from working US Citizens. They tell us how much these ILLEGAL ALIENS contribute to our society, while they continue to break the law EVERY SINGLE DAY THEY REMAIN HERE. They tell us these people should be granted amnesty if they have broken no laws. HELLO!!!

They are ILLEGAL ALIENS, many bring their families with them, thus they are complicit in the commision of NUMEROUS COUNTS of violating the law. They remain here every day as ILLEGAL ALIENS, they are repeat offenders. Many of them have been caught and returned to Mexico, they ILLEGALLY return to this country again and again. They shouldn’t be granted amnesty, they should be shot on site! Damm the compassion routine, I don’t want to hear it, we need to take care of our own FIRST.

          • Mary Hancock

You said it all, very well,I might add!

        • Dana Davis

Not reap the benefits but repossess that which we have worked for generations to create. And our concern is really not for ourselves but for our families of the future.

        • Denise Perez

Well now the age old question is being answered by such profound depth as you have exemplified – “is the glass half empty or half full”? Obtuse and dense – by choice or are you extremely young – incapable of grasping abstract concepts with complete understanding?

        • Diane Crouse

Yes, Illegal aliens is the key here isn’t it? As a Christian, I do want to help others. I want to give to those in need and I do as I am able and led to do, Even if someone takes my coat, I am to give them my cloat also. That is God dealing with me or another as an individual with a free will. Also, when someone is in need and ask of me and I have the ability to give, it is wrong for me not to do so. In reality as a Christian, everything that I am and have was given to me by God and it is His,. I am just a sturart of those tallents gifts and abilities. At the same time, He tells me to be wise as a serpent and as gentle as a dove. He gives decernment to weigh out what to do and when to do it to those who love and serve Him. God does not tell me that i have to open my home to those who would rob and steal from me. In fact He does say to keep watch, because if the good man of the house would have known at what watch the thief woul come, he would not have allowed the thief to come in and rob his home. It is one thing to freely give, it a different thing to be robbed. One must understand as a Christian how to rightly divide the word of God. We are not told to let anyone just rob and steal that which God has blessed us with. tiamariedunn, what do you give? How much of your stuff are you willing to give? Your car, your house, your food, your health care, your clothes, your job? Put your money and your stuff and your job where your convictions are.

    • Dana Davis

Well it’s pretty obvious too because the Catholic church really is pandering to illegals.

      • MargaretJacobson

The Catholic Church would love to have many more Catholics in this country. We are supposedly the richest country. That way they can take our riches for distribution to the masses. That way life here in the USA would come down and the poorest would rise up under the guidance of the catholic USA!

        • catholicchristian

Please read my comment above. Catholic Charities normally operates autonomously within a diocese, and it may be that the arrangement was somehow concealed from the bishop. As a Catholic, I am as outraged as you are that someone within the Diocese of Galveston has abused their position in order to render unto Caesar.

          • MargaretJacobson

I understand that you are quite upset with catholic charities in Galveston. My mothers family came from north Boston (revere ). My grandmother and older sister were really into “catholic daughters of America” it seems that there were instances when catholic charities had worked on fundraising and objectives without much input from anybody.

          • SmokeyBehr

They didn’t render unto Caesar, they bowed down and worshipped him, turning their backs to God and the Rule of Law.

Nothing was concealed from anybody higher up in that corrupt organization.
Get out before you loose your immortal soul. You would be better off with no church at all to attend.

          • MargaretJacobson

I left the catholic school system in June 1961. I had more than enough of all of them. Being a minor I had to attend mass. Eventually I ended that too. I found them to be hypocrites. I found to to greedy and grasping. Self righteous. When my father enrolled me, he felt I would receive a high quality education. He based this on fact his younger brother went to the monestary school (st Jerome’s school) in fancy farms kentucky. That was many years ago. It was in the 1920s. He felt it was an opportunity not to be passed up. I found them, after my fathers death especially to be cold, cruel and hateful. By the way, my father was a reform Jew and my mother was a Roman Catholic.

          • Third Eye

I was raised as a child in that church, I got out when I was on my own and realized you could gain much greater spiritual awareness elsewhere.
When I kept hearing about all the molestations going on in there, That Was It! I felt I had a moral obligation to never, ever patronize them again.
Every Catholic I ever met was in denial of the atrocities being committed
            in there.
You are right about their behavior patterns, their ice cold, selfish hearts and arrogance, including the priests
Religions seem to be big business and organizations of control to
keep the masses in check. They do some good but are too wrapped up in the world system.

          • Pro-ChoiceTexan

I, too, was educated in a Catholic school. I left the Church when I was about 20, for a variety of reasons. I have never regretted my decision.

However, what I did get from the Catholic school was an excellent education. By the time I got out of eighth grade I knew all there was to know about the English language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I also got a solid grounding in basic math. By the time I got out of eighth grade I knew all there was to know about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I also had a thorough understanding of decimals.

I didn’t go to college until I was 28. Most of that time I worked as a newspaper reporter, and so dealt with English grammar, punctuation, proper word usage and spelling on a daily basis. When I got into college, I was required to take 12 hours of English. I looked through the book and it was mostly about English grammar — which I had thoroughly known since elementary school. I told the teacher that I could actually teach the course, and probably knew as much about the subject as she did. Fortunately, I was able to take what is called a CLEP test, and passed in the 93rd Percentile (the dean at my college said no one in the school had ever scored that high). It is thanks to the excellent education at the Catholic school that I was able to do it.

I’m a Catholic as well, and this is shocking to me. I also went to a Baptist University and met some great Christians there. I feel let down by both my Church and my University.

          • SaraLouTrueBlue

Obama KNEW it would be a giant BLOW to the Catholic and the Baptist churches nationwide if he had them to be in collusion with him in this illegal invasion of children and youth. THIS is another FEATHER in his cap for his MUSLIM brothers to see that he has done–TWO birds with ONE stone. Overwhelm and anger our citizen with the massive invasion so that riots and violence would be inevitable, AND turn people against the two largest Christian groups… AND consider all religions of our country as hypocritical and phony. MUCH easier to persuade converts to islam if people are disillusioned by these churches’ participation in these traitorous, CRIMINAL actions with Obama.

          • Mary Hancock

The puzzle is falling into place. Obama has divided all of America on everything else and it looks like the final piece is being placed! What better way than use churches in the pretext of helping children, when in fact, it is just a cover for the Muslim brotherhood to take control! I was raised a Baptist but grew to understand that no religion has a monopoly on heaven! That being said, I despise the Muslim religion and all it stands for! Their goal in life is to convert or kill the infidel, that would be me and anyone else who is not a Muslim! I am deeply disappointed in any church that would accept money from the government because that is a form of enslavement! I am not going to spend my time on this issue when the bigger picture leads me to believe that not only are we being invaded but the Muslims are ready to make their move on America! If you think I’m crazy, that’s okay! I’ll see you on the corner selling prayer mats…………..

Dear Brother/Sister, The Papacy is as corrupt, if not more so, as the “Religious Leaders” in the time of Messiah. Secure riches and position for self and make life hard for all the “little people”. I do say this out of Love and Favor. Read Daniel and Revelation, ask yourself, who has changed “times and laws”, what does it mean to “come out of Babylon My people”? Babylon does mean “confusion” or “confused teachings”. Not only have they “rendered to Caesar”, and bowed down to worship Caesar, they have indeed BECOME Caesar themselves…. look into it! Check it out!

          • catholicchristian

To be charitable, brother, you are being deceived by the Deceiver. What you are saying has no relationship to actual fact, except in the case of some individuals acting against the will of Christ (and there is no organization on Earth without human, and therefore corruptible, members).

          • Sabrit

Thankyou for being charitable. No, no one deceives me, it is the Bible and the Bible only, we humans have been told what to watch out for, and given His map and His footsteps. Yes, ANY human agency will have human errors, I do agree. While the Catholic people Love Messiah, the papacy IS corrupt, and fits the profile in Daniel and Revelation. The molestation of children too often in Catholic churches is a symptom of something much deeper, also “baptized” gods in the vatican basement.(and VISITED….) Just going to leave this link here, if you can stomach the truth, you will continue to investigate. Sorry I didn’t mean to. But to me these people seem to be saying. “Do as I say, not as I do” to the people. Many churches seem to be lowering the morality standards to fit the situation.

          • Marvin2514

These are the lukewarm churches we are warned about in the bible. They aren’t about preaching the gospel, but lining their pockets. I am not saying all Catholics/Baptists are, but if your church is a part of this you need to rethink where you call a church home.

        • Krystal Morris Eddleman

It is prophecy being fulfilled, the papacy is trying to lead out the world in a so called peace movement and will do so by aligning itself with the U.S. Remember that Jeb Bush is looking to run as Catholic but needs more Catholic votes. The Papacy is really running the whole show behind the scenes via the Jesuits so that they can enforce their new world order and one world governing religion of all is one and anything goes except those who stand on the holy word of God. They burned the reformers at the stake for a “thus saith the word of God” and history is beginning to repeat itself with intolerance for those who follow Christ and believe in 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV “All
scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. ” but of course, in Tony Palmer’s words, we’ll just work out all the doctrine when we get to heaven…according to God’s word, it doesn’t work that way folks

Soon those who will not just go along will be called “spiritual racists”… In the old Testament we read about a prophet who was told to “look into a hole in the wall of the temple”, what he saw, was horrible black depravity… it was telling of future events in the “church”or what ought to be the church….the molestation of children is just the tip of the iceberg, bowing down to images, changing G-d’s Law, FORGIVING sins, (ONLY G-d’s prerogative) Look into it folks, don’t just stand back and cry “conspiracy!” for in Jeremiah we are already told “conspiracies” would be rumored, but we are to ignore them, not to worry about them. Call me stupid, I don’t care, I have been sworn at by those claiming to be friends of Messiah in the most vile way…. But nothing changes the FACTS that prophecy gives us…Now is the acceptable time to read, pray, obey The Saviour of this world.

Oh, please. The Catholic hierarchy is one of the most close-knit you can find. Hell, I bet most don’t know that the National Baptist Convention is still under authority of the Vatican. (Reported in USA Today)

          • MargaretJacobson

I remember reading about the reformation and counter reformation. I remember reading somewhere that the various orthodox churches will be united under the pope. Russia will be coming back into the fold again. The church would then lead the world back into “the holy apolitical faith ” of the apostle creed.

          • Richard Howell

One problem. But it is a big one. The Catholics cannot find it within themselves to start slaughtering Muslims and they are already way, way behind.

          • MargaretJacobson

During the crusades, they killed many Jews and Muslims. They killed many Muslims in Spain. The ousting of the moors from Spain in the late 1400’s. I think somehow they will manage!

          • Richard Howell

Yes, they certainly did, but 600 years has changed them. I can’t see them blowing up schools and beheading. Todays Muslims are extremely violent.

It is foolish to believe that the poorest will rise up. They won’t. These religious organizations are out for themselves, their bankroll. This is a scam. These religious organizations will rally for the up coming election so Democrats will be voted in. Hence, divide and conquer all parties involved. Follow the money trail. We as American citizens will be driven into the poorest.

          • MargaretJacobson

You may be right considering we will be supporting the ignorant masses. These people just aren’t trying to better themselves. The Catholic Church prospered when they came to the Americas. Essentially the peasants are still doing the same as they were 600 years ago! The majority still haven’t advanced? They (as a rule) don’t win noble prizes, invent, build and advance societies. They seem to want to be provided for? When we started giving them welfare ( foreign aid) they started to arrive here! Now they are told “they deserve”welfare.” It seems that someone is out to destroy this country with debt and having it overrun with those who are not interested in loyalty to the American dream.

        • Marie W

I totally agree with you … the mafia Vatican Bank has untold wealth even they do not know how much. I say send the kids back and put some pressure on the “pope” to loosen the purse strings there.
Recall: The “Pope” just told the mafia he is excommunicating them. BWAHAHAHAHAHA that is to throw us off. Since they own the Catholic Church as their front, if what the “Pope” said is true… he would be a goner is some never to be known the truth about “accident.”

Church should only help the rich!

        • Deitwiler

The point, cold, is that these religious entities are aiding people to break the law and are working with the government which has turned a blind eye to law breaking. Thus, these churches are assisting people, rich (government) and poor (Illegal aliens), to sin and are complicit in that sin.

          • cold340t

What would Jesus do? As far as the Church goes, Pedophile Protection seems to be their most important task.

        • Diane Crouse

No the rich don’t need it but, the Chruch sould not take money from the Government (we the tax payers) and then call it charity. That is not charity that is theft from the public treasuary. The Church is supposed to use it’s tithes and offerings for it’s works with the poor and needy, most of all the widows and the orphans. When people give by choice from the heart with a free will, it is truly giving and God will bless it. When the Government takes from the taxes of the people, that is supposed to be used for the betterment of their own community, State or Nation and gives it to others to use as they will, it is theft of said treasuary.
The Government is not a Church, even if some worship there, it is not a charity service, it is not a missionary service. It is supposed to be about the peoples business of public affairs directed by the will of the people. The Government giving tax dollars to any so called charity group for any reason is not charity, I repeat it is theft. Those who accept such monies as charity are partaking in that theft. God will not honor theft for any reason and He does not consider that as charity.

          • cold340t

See ALL the Churches in BAD Neighborhoods? Taking money from the Poor then not really doing anything with it. Church is A Business..scam!

      • GaryLockhart

There are people claiming to be Catholic who are pandering to illegals. The actual teaching of the Church contradicts their prudential actions and statements. People like you who emote fail to make that distinction while wielding that oversized generalization paintbrush. It’s akin to the absurd claim that Barry Soetoro/Davis/Soebarkah is faithful to the Constitution and the Republic.

2148 Blasphemy is directly opposed to the second commandment. It consists in
uttering against God – inwardly or outwardly – words of hatred, reproach, or
defiance; in speaking ill of God; in failing in respect toward Him in one’s
speech; in misusing God’s name. St. James condemns those “who blaspheme
that honorable name [of Jesus] by which you are called.”78 The prohibition of blasphemy extends to language against Christ’s Church, the saints, and sacred things. It is also blasphemous to make use of God’s name to cover up criminal practices, to reduce peoples to servitude, to torture persons or put them to death. the misuse of God’s name to commit a crime can provoke others to repudiate religion.

Blasphemy is contrary to the respect due God and His holy name. It is in itself
        a grave sin.79

2241 The more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to
welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood
which he cannot find in his country of origin. Public authorities should see to
it that the natural right is respected that places a guest under the protection
        of those who receive him.

Political authorities, for the sake of the common good for which they
are responsible, may make the exercise of the right to immigrate subject to
various juridical conditions, especially with regard to the immigrants’ duties
toward their country of adoption. Immigrants are obliged to respect with
gratitude the material and spiritual heritage of the country that receives
them, to obey its laws and to assist in carrying civic burdens.

        Catechism of the Catholic Church

        • Dana Davis

Are you accusing me of blasphemy? Are you accusing me of a crime against God?

Do you then refute reports that the Catholic church is presently receiving grants from the Obama administration?

Inherent in the sovereignty possessed of the “more prosperous nations” is the right of self determination. This is indisputable or these nations would not exist.

The United States was NOT founded by the Roman Catholic church, nor could it have been. It was founded by a particular sect commonly referred to as “Puritan,” which relegated command of the ministry to the “civil body politik.” That civil body politic alone retains the right of determination.

If the Catholic church wishes to aid the impoverished of the world, they should do so with their own funds and not our revenue. Nor should they expect Americans to forfeit their communities, their livelihoods, their educational system, or their medical care,

In short, if you wish that right of determination, then buy your own country. Real estate is cheap south of the border.

          • angelccorr

This is not a good time to be attacking each other. Average Americans should be sticking together right now. You make it sound like all Catholics are onboard with this. They are not, and I am sure all Baptists are not onboard. Just don’t impugn everyone. I’m a Catholic who happened to go to a Baptist University. I know members of both Churches that would be very upset about this story.

          • Dana Davis

I’m a very average person. And I live in the northeast where the average person pays in excess of five thousand dollars a year in school taxes, and has for quite some time. Over the last thirty years, I have contributed close to a hundred and fifty thousand to the public education system, only to learn as my grandchildren enter school that their math teachers are being replaced by ESL teachers.

To add insult to injury I now learn that the Catholic church, which I have long regarded as a force for good worldwide, is easing illegal entry with MY federal tax dollars.

And how do they respond? They accuse me of blasphemy? A crime against the church? In the Puritan world of my Protestant ancestry, blasphemy was NEVER considered a crime against the state, for this very reason. The failure to separate church and state invites corruption of both church and state.

Why isn’t the media all over this?

          • MargaretJacobson

The media is uneducated. The media seems to be brought to be unthinking!

          • Diane Crouse

They are well educated, infacxt their are Universities dedicated to educating them. The problem is they are educated by Socialist and Marxist disguised as professors in the higher schools of indoctrination.

          • Nicole Duvall

The name ‘Baptist’ doesn’t designate any particular uniformity among churches of that name. We are not structured as Catholics or other churches are. I read in a previous post that you are Catholic. The name ‘Catholic’ means ‘universal.’ Baptists are not part of one church or religion.

          • MargaretJacobson

If the Catholic Church wants to help the “poor huddled masses” let them sell the beautiful art works in the Vatican. How about selling just some of the various properties they own. With this money let them give this to feed, educate, and give education to the poor, uneducated masses. Let them take a vow of unselfish poverty, to attempt to help those who wait for hand outs.

          • GaryLockhart

I’m pointing out that you either aren’t very bright or you’re a liar. That’s not an accusation. It’s simply stating a fact based on your public comments. Try paying attention and stop emoting for a change.

Because Jesus never helped those who didn’t pay taxes, and we’ve heard the spinoff stories that everyone He helped became an asset to Jerusalem? Oh wait, so He helped people that didn’t go on to be great contributors? He even helped people who ended up betraying Him?

          • NakedJusticeLeague

You don’t get it do you? Jesus did help others, no matter what. He did not steal from others to give to others

          • cold340t

        • MargaretJacobson

Many of these “so called poor” refuse to help themselves. Why work to make your life better when you have someone to give you food, clothing and shelter? It takes all the incentative away to do better for yourself! Example: ever see the sign ” please do not feed the animals ” that means if you get the animals in the habit to begging for handouts, they give up foraging for food, then they are after people to feed them. They refuse to forage and do for themselves. The same way as people. Keep giving endlessly and they too become like the animals. They become accustomed to handouts.

        • cold340t

This isn’t what Jesus stood or died for! He died for your sins and to save us from whats occurring Now! HE HELPED THE POOR and DOWNTRODDEN. Isn’t that the point of the Whole Bible?

          • creeper

We can’t even feed and house our own and you want us to open the borders. What world do you live in?

          • cold340t

Why can’t the Greatest nation in the World not be able to take of our OWN? Why is it? Could it be people so worried about “gay marriage” that they vote against their own best interest? Vote for people who prefer to bailout Big Business and the Banks that caused these crashes? Yah, I guess I understand your point. We don’t care for our OWN ALREADY, so don’t add more. Well, when you show the same concern over ALL the Millions going to Big Business/Banks who have done nothing to create JOBS etc. Then Maybe your point about these Asylum Seekers would have a sliver of merit. As it stands now, it has none. What would Jesus do? Your’s apparently NOTHING! SAD!

I went to Catholic Church (schools). In this country churches and religious organizations cash contributions are their business. They pay no taxes, their property comes off the tax rolls, their property cannot be taken for the “common good ” for public roads, buildings etc. Obama just went to these people and offered money. Charities need money and they took it. Probably asked few questions.

my guess is that they need to bring in more Catholic voters if Jeb Bush

1995, “If the Bible is the only guide for the Christian, then the
Seventh Day Adventist is right in observing the Saturday with the Jew”
Bertrand L. Conway 1903, “It is well to remind the Presbyterians,
Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not
support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an
institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day
observe a commandment of the Catholic Church” Priest Brady, The News
Mar.18 1903, “They [the Protestants] deem it their duty to keep the
Sunday holy. Why? Because the Catholic Church tells them to do so. They
have no other reason…The observance of Sunday thus comes to be an
ecclesiastical law entirely distinct from the divine law of Sabbath
observance…The author of the Sunday law…is the Catholic Church.”

The grants were to be used to prpare the churches to help obama with his invasion.

I am starting to wonder if indeed obama and the rest of the traitors who have been planning this for so long, had a clue about the consequences of deliberately spreading HIV, scabies, lice, TB, Swine flu, MRSA staph infections, syphilis, and other communicable infestations throughout America. “One person can infect a thousand people, and then that thousand can infect thousands more. There is an exponential increase,” warns public health expert Dr. Elizabeth Van Vliet.

Wondering if this federal grant is included in the tally listed above: The San Antonio Business Journal reported in December 2009 that BCFS (Baptist Child & Family Services) was awarded $21.5 million in HHS federal grants. Funds are to be dispersed over a 5-year period for the housing and integration of unaccompanied children from foreign countries.

I’m not sure how other Catholics didn’t know this was going on, unless they are the only punching the time clock each Sunday variety. Catholic writers have been warning for years that because the Church was taking federal money for some of its programs, it was not as likely to criticize the policies. The more recent developments had been Churches losing this funding unless they give in to the new social agendas. I don’t think the Church is pandering to illegals. It is the job of the government to secure the borders. Once the illegals are here, with the government refusing to send them right back, the Church will step in and offer aid. (We are always reminded that Mary and Joseph had to flee to Egypt.) I’m not saying the way some bishops and priests go about this is how it should be handled. But please don’t judge the rank and file Catholics based on what some of the clergy do. It would be like judging Americans based on Obummer and Congress. More and more Catholics are specifically earmarking their donation checks to make sure the Church can’t put their money in a general fund.

    • MargaretJacobson

The church can out the money where they choose without revue by any outsiders. They generally use companies they own or have major ownership of. I remember all my textbooks came from “saint Joseph” book company. Our uniforms were from some “recommended place”

Everyone is so money hungry they don’t even worry about the law.

Please note that it even addresses Non-Profit entities.

    Federal Immigration
    and Nationality Act
    of 1954
    Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

“Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . .
reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . .
. residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided
    . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . .
fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.”

Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality
    Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or
local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:

    * assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in
the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting,
sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

    * encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him
or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer
    in any way, or

    * knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and
forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.
Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying
his or her work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens
and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest,
detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition,
individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that
commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject
to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

Recruitment and Employment of Illegal Aliens

It is unlawful to hire an alien, to recruit an alien, or to refer
an alien for a fee, knowing the alien is unauthorized to work in the
United States. It is equally unlawful to continue to employ an alien
knowing that the alien is unauthorized to work. Employers may give
preference in recruitment and hiring to a U.S. citizen over an alien
with work authorization only where the U.S. citizen is equally or better
qualified. It is unlawful to hire an individual for employment in the
United States without complying with employment eligibility verification
requirements. Requirements include examination of identity documents and
completion of Form I-9 for every employee hired. Employers must retain
all I-9s, and, with three days’ advance notice, the forms must be made
available for inspection. Employment includes any service or labor
performed for any type of remuneration within the United States, with
the exception of sporadic domestic service by an individual in a private
home. Day laborers or other casual workers engaged in any compensated
activity (with the above exception) are employees for purposes of
immigration law. An employer includes an agent or anyone acting directly
or indirectly in the interest of the employer. For purposes of
verfication of authorization to work, employer also means an independent
contractor, or a contractor other than the person using the alien labor.
The use of temporary or short-term contracts cannot be used to
circumvent the employment authorization verification requirements. If
employment is to be for less than the usual three days allowed for
completing the I-9 Form requirement, the form must be completed
immediately at the time of hire.

An employer has constructive knowledge that an employee is an
illegal unauthorized worker if a reasonable person would infer it from
the facts. Constructive knowledge constituting a violation of federal
law has been found where (1) the I-9 employment eligibility form has not
been properly completed, including supporting documentation, (2) the
employer has learned from other individuals, media reports, or any
source of information available to the employer that the alien is
unauthorized to work, or (3) the employer acts with reckless disregard
for the legal consequences of permitting a third party to provide or
introduce an illegal alien into the employer’s work force. Knowledge
cannot be inferred solely on the basis of an individual’s accent or
    foreign appearance.

Actual specific knowledge is not required. For example, a newspaper
article stating that ballrooms depend on an illegal alien work force of
dance hostesses was held by the courts to be a reasonable ground for
suspicion that unlawful conduct had occurred.

assist an employer to violate employment sanctions, REGARDLESS OF CLAIMS
aiding illegal aliens is not protected by the First Amendment. It is a
felony to establish a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading
any provision of federal immigration law. Violators may be fined or
imprisoned for up to five years.

    Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens

It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or
shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of
transportation, any alien who is in the United States in violation of
AN ALIEN TO REMAIN IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY. The sheltering need not be
clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as
in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered
the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.

An employer can be convicted of the felony of harboring illegal
aliens who are his employees if he takes actions in reckless disregard
of their illegal status, such as ordering them to obtain false
documents, altering records, obstructing INS inspections, or taking
other actions that facilitate the alien’s illegal employment. Any person
who within any 12-month period hires ten or more individuals with actual
knowledge that they are illegal aliens or unauthorized workers is guilty
of felony harboring. It is also a felony to encourage or induce an alien
to come to or reside in the U.S. knowing or recklessly disregarding the
fact that the alien’s entry or residence is in violation of the law.
This crime applies to any person, rather than just employers of illegal
aliens. Courts have ruled that “encouraging” includes counseling illegal
aliens to continue working in the U.S. or assisting them to complete
applications with false statements or obvious errors. The fact that the
alien is a refugee fleeing persecution is not a defense to this felony,
since U.S. law and the UN Protocol on Refugees both require that a
refugee must report to immigration authorities without delay upon entry
    to the U.S.

The penalty for felony harboring is a fine and imprisonment for up
to five years. The penalty for felony alien smuggling is a fine and up
to ten years’ imprisonment. Where the crime causes serious bodily injury
or places the life of any person in jeopardy, the penalty is a fine and
up to twenty years’ imprisonment. If the criminal smuggling or harboring
results in the death of any person, the penalty can include life
imprisonment. Convictions for aiding, abetting, or conspiracy to commit
alien smuggling or harboring, carry the same penalties. Courts can
impose consecutive prison sentences for each alien smuggled or harbored.
A court may order a convicted smuggler to pay restitution if the alien
smuggled qualifies as a victim under the Victim and Witness Protection
Act. Conspiracy to commit crimes of sheltering, harboring, or employing
illegal aliens is a separate federal offense punishable by a fine of up
to $10,000 or five years’ imprisonment.

A person or entity having knowledge of a violation or potential
violation of employer sanctions provisions may submit a signed written
complaint to the INS office with jurisdiction over the business or
residence of the potential violator, whether an employer, employee, or
agent. The complaint must include the names and addresses of both the
complainant and the violator, and detailed factual allegations,
including date, time, and place of the potential violation, and the
specific conduct alleged to be a violation of employer sanctions. By
regulation, the INS will only investigate third-party complaints that
have a reasonable probability of validity. Designated INS officers and
employees, and all other officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal
laws, may make an arrest for violation of smuggling or harboring illegal

State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to
investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without
prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so
by state law. There is no extant federal limitation on this authority.
The 1996 immigration control legislation passed by Congress was intended
to encourage states and local agencies to participate in the process of
enforcing federal immigration laws. Immigration officers and local law
enforcement officers may detain an individual for a brief warrantless
interrogation where circumstances create a reasonable suspicion that the
individual is illegally present in the U.S. Specific facts constituting
    a reasonable suspicion include evasive, nervous, or erratic behavior;
dress or speech indicating foreign citizenship; and presence in an area
known to contain a concentration of illegal aliens. Hispanic appearance
alone is not sufficient. Immigration officers and police must have a
valid warrant or valid employer’s consent to enter workplaces or
residences. Any vehicle used to transport or harbor illegal aliens, or
used as a substantial part of an activity that encourages illegal aliens
to come to or reside in the U.S. may be seized by an immigration officer
and is subject to forfeiture. The forfeiture power covers any
    conveyances used within the U.S.

    RICO — Citizen Recourse

Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain
injunctions and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or
actually violate federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud
statutes, under the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations
(RICO). The pattern of racketeering activity is defined as commission of
two or more of the listed crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any
individual legal entity, or a group of individuals who are not a legal
entity but are associated in fact, AND CAN INCLUDE NONPROFIT ASSOCIATIONS.

    Tax Crimes

Employers who aid or abet the preparation of false tax returns by
failing to pay income or Social Security taxes for illegal alien
employees, or who knowingly make payments using false names or Social
Security numbers, are subject to IRS criminal and civil sanctions. U.S.
nationals who have suffered intentional discrimination because of
citizenship or national origin by an employer with more than three
employees may file a complaint within 180 days of the discriminatory act
with the Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment
Practices, U.S. Department of Justice. In additon to the federal
statutes summarized, state laws and local ordinances controlling fair
labor practices, workers compensation, zoning, safe housing and rental
property, nuisance, licensing, street vending, and solicitations by
contractors may also apply to activities that involve illegal aliens.

I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said: “We must know the law and be well disposed to use it.” If it wasn’t him it’s still a good statement.

Agreed. Unfortunately, it was Obama and Holder who said something about “prosecutorial discretion”.

Fortunately, We, the People, are not limited by the inept and corrupt actions of some of our Public Servants. If We decide to bring suit we can. In fact, the Declaration of Independence says that when any form of government becomes abusive of the ends for which it was created then We, the People, have the duty and the obligation to modify it, or abolish it and to institute new government, laying its foundations and organizing its principles in such manner as We need to in order to protect our Unalienable Rights and pass the ability to use them on to our posterity.

Breaking: Mexico & Guatemala Cut Deal to Allow More Illegal Immigrants to Flood Into US

    Original, video is in English:

I looked up the financial report from the church site:

Figures are on page 23: http://www.catholiccharities.org/file/auditted-financials/CC_2012_Final_Audit_Report.pdf

***Eligibility requirements say nothing about unaccompanied child migrants.

Services are free for all eligible clients

Must be legally admitted to the United States as a refugee, asylee, Cuban entrant, victim of severe trafficking, or other population deemed eligible by the Health & Human Service Office of Refugee Resettlement.

Must be within Office of Refugee Resettlement five-year eligibility period (from date of arrival in the US/date of asylum certification).

In 2012, MRS responded to an unprecedented influx of

children migrating to the United States alone by coordinating family

reunification services for unaccompanied child migrants.

The primary countries of origin of children served in 2012

were El Salvador (25%), Mexico (24%), Guatemala

    (22%), and Honduras (20%).

So, it is apparent Obama and the democrats have planned this and intend to call these invaders REFUGEE’S instead of what they really are, ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS.

      • SWohio

And yet, the President of Guatemala was very clear that these people are not escaping from any violence or war – because he knows that if he lets obama label them refugees, it will follow that Guatemala gets labelled as a war zone or something like that.

he is onboard with this too, as it is a way to send all their poor and rejects to America so WE can support them. This is what Mexico has been doing for DECADES!

Actually, the Dallas and Fort Worth numbers look reasonable for what’s normally done there. But the Galveston number – it’s incredible that this hasn’t been reported before, and someone needs to audit that branch of Catholic Charities.

Just BTW, Catholic Charities is generally subject to the bishop, but normally operates autonomously. While that’s not a reason for the diocese not to have known, it certainly provides more opportunities for a complicit person to try to hide the numbers from the bishop.

    • MargaretJacobson

this bible verse is stuck on my mind right now so im going to post it
    And unto the angel of
the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the
    faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

    17 Because
thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of
nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and
    poor, and blind, and naked:

    18 I
counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be
rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame
of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
    that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

    20 Behold,
I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the
door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

    21 To
him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I
also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

must i say you are seeing this 7th church in the world today people say they are rich and need of nothing but if they only knew they cannot get to heaven by going thru a priest Jesus said they are miserable poor blind and naked catholicism is a cult just like buddist just like islam just like jehovah witness just like mormon the only way to heaven is thru the blood of the lamb of God which is Jesus Christ himself mary cannot save you a priest cannot save you or forgive you only Jesus can forgive you of your sins and no statue of mary can i tell you people need to hear the truth and not some watered down gospel

    the answer to americas problems

my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I
hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Of course Catholic Charities wants to help the people illegally in this country (they are not all children. A good portion of them are twenty-something males), they have been getting paid for it for the last 3.5 years…

“Between Dec 2010 and Nov 2013, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Galveston received $15,549,078 in federal grants from Health & Human Services for “Unaccompanied Alien Children Project” with a program description of “Refugee and Entry Assistance.”Last year, the Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth received $350,000 from Department of Homeland Security for “citizenship and education training” with a program description of “citizenship and immigration services.”

This is no longer the Catholic church but a Marxist regime facility that has a Catholic Name on the front door. What ever happened to separation of Church and State so heavily promoted by the ACLU. Now it is becoming the States Church, like in Russia where Putin controls the Russian Orthodox, in China which has it Government controlled Church and now American with it Government controlled churches both Catholic and Baptist. This is sick. An Obomination on God Church. Repulsive. The Catholic Bishops need to resign. The whole Catholic Church is compromised. This all started when the Rockefeller Foundation started providing funding via the Federal Government to Catholic Universities and Hospitals. What a scam. What stupid bishops. No wonder this gay marriage fiasco has spread so far and so fast, these bishops were receiving grants from the Federal Government.

  • cold340t

So let me get this straight….. OBama sent a message to the South American Drug Cartels operating in the countries where these children/families live. That they were to tell EVERYONE in Country that USA was going to accept them if they came here. I mean really that is what articles like this are saying/implying isn’t it? That this influx of Asylum seekers is a Conspiracy concocted by OBama and coordinated by the South American Drug Cartels. Interesting conspiracy theory! But, where are the facts to back this up? Alex Jones, Rush Saville, G. Becky care to comment? Or could this a case where OBama saw this coming due to inaction by Congress et al. and began, like most Leaders would. To prepare for this situation before it got where it is now? Whats that Boy Scout motto again? Something about “always be prepared”? OBama was doing just that. Wasn’t he?!?! To bad everyone else wasn’t interested until they thought they could blame this ALL ON HIM! Remember, If OBama is for it, then the GOP/Teapotty is against it! Regardless!

    • SWohio

      Inaction by congress?

If you did any actual research, you will find that the inaction is coming from the branch of Congress controlled by Democrats.

Excluding procedural, cloture, confirmation and table votes, and trivial votes like naming post offices, in 2013 there were 8 bills voted on by both bodies. Seven of the eight were written and originated in the House. Only one originated in the Senate. The House voted on 141 other bills, the Senate 6. That’s it. None of the normal business of appropriating funds. None of the legislation which could create jobs. The Senate has not passed a BUDGET for a number of years until last year.

Of course the Senate does vote to confirm presidential appointees, but Senate Dems are whining about not getting enough opportunities for confirmation votes. It is Harry Reid who is not doing the job that the Senate is required to do to responsibly govern the country. It is Harry Reid who is obstructing the normal functioning of the federal government.

The Republicans are doing what they can considering their efforts are impeded by the Senate. Another year, another case of Do Nothing Democrats.

      • cold340t

Sorry Dude/Dudette, but if OBama came up with a plan to fix this problem. It would be instantly OPPOSED by GOP/Teapottier’s because it was his idea! If they came up with a plan and he AGREED with it, they would switch to opposing it because he supported it! It doesn’t take much “research” to see this pattern throughout his 1ST, nows 2nd term. ! What part of ‘unaccompanied alien children PROJECT’ don’t you understand?

What part of THIS don’t you understand: On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

You better start working really hard to find some sort of stupid cover for your ‘leader’ because planning and orchestrating the invasion of one’s own country has a special name.

Most this was passed under Bushjr., the policies you refer to. So being prepared for a known upcoming problem is now “the problem”?

Lying is reason enough to throw the bum out, or not doing your job and he always claims he heard it on the news.

In this case you are willfully blind. Right here in the comments is proof the whole world knows what is going on but Obama continues to lie to the people.

Latest whopper? He needs 3.7 billion so he can enforce the border laws when the is really going to use the money to house, feed and resettle them here.

His global masters tell him what to do and he lies to us. Now, before you call me an Obama hater, Bush did it and the next one will too.

Everyone in congress for the last 50+ years has signed onto the globalist agenda while lying to us. Anyone that tells the truth is smeared in the press or killed, or both.

If you want proof do some research yourself. Research the North American Union and UN agenda that has been passed, implemented or promoted.

If you believe in the Bible, it says there will be a one world government meaning we didn’t or couldn’t stop it. If you don’t believe in the Bible, fine, your research will reveal this is the goal of everyone involved.

The US, Britain, China and Russia all have their own designs to direct the out come of this. Unlike what we’re told, Britain is a major enemy of the US who would nuke us off the map if they could get by with it.

It is a well known fact Britain wants the power they had in the past which was world dominance and they fought to destroy America from the beginning.

Also check out the “City of London” as in the historic city and financial district within London called the City of London.

Until people realize that the President is not in control and spend all of their time arguing about who’s right or wrong things will continue like they are.

I think it’s too late to stop it because people are just now becoming aware of it and they’ve been planning it for centuries. When I say “they” I mean all of them, and “it” is world dominance.

          • cold340t

“Lying enough to throw Bum out”? Really? Find those WMD’s yet? If thats your standard for “throwing bum out” then where were you when ALL THIS STUFF STARTED, under BUSHjr./Cheney? You lost your argument in your first sentence. Thanks for proving my point!

Did anyone happen to take note of the open “funding opportunity” that the Office of Refugee Resettlement has pending? The deadline to submit a bid is 8/5/2014. The estimated total funding for the project is $350 million and spans 3 years. Not sure if this is normal business for them but it is no less interesting to see the different programs they intend to implement for children under the age of 18 that are here illegally. It’s a 54 page document – if anyone is interested do a search for the funding number “HHS-2015-ACF-ORR-ZU-0833″

    • Yankee495

Good find. I said there is a ton of it. A few days ago Obama took to the airwaves to say he was going get right on it and all he needed was a little cash. I smelled a rat right off, so I started reading everything I could find and some of my best clues came from the comments.

There are a few users here wanting proof even after I posted more info in a comment, so they aren’t reading the comments and I think some don’t get past the headline.

Eric posted something that popped up on FB so the first thing I did was check him out. Today when I seen this article and seen the authors name I knew right off it was probably not one of those speculation pieces.

Too many people believe everything they read, on the other hand some can’t be convinced of anything with any amount of proof.

If people spent 10% of the time they spend asking for proof they could find tons of it and we may have known about this several years ago. I’m not bashing anyone. We should be able to go to bed and get up and trust that the government has done the right thing, but this, along with dozens of other things proves we can’t. We have to watch them like toddlers so they don’t hurt themselves or others (us).

You may not know that this is all for the implementation for the North American Union. Search for “David Petraeus NAU” and other NAU related searches.

Obama is just doing what the global powers order him to do because they are his masters. This border will never be closed and the United States, Mexico, and Canada will become the NAU, just like the EU (European Union).

I posted another comment with a link to an article in Spanish but the video is in English. The reporter asks questions in Spanish but the answers are given in English. The world knows while Obama continues to lie to us. I don’t think he plans to leave office at all and a national crisis is what he needs to suspend the election, then again he may have his sights set on being the leader of the NAU.

They used to sell us out every time we blinked, now they do it 24/7 while they “Entertain us to death “with super hyped news that doesn’t matter, sports and Facebook. The NSA spy program is to monitor our reaction to the evidence we find.

The next step is internet censorship because they don’t like the reaction they’re seeing.

      • SSK1ATX

If I had to wager, Obama has his sights on being the leader of the NAU. At every pushback he has realigned his position, though never fully retreated. It’s a perpetual testing of the waters with smoke and mirrors. There are lines crossed that even the everyman-liberal won’t tolerate — a third term and/or martial law is one of them. So this means we all have to be tricked into wanting this “forward” nonsense, otherwise it won’t work.

A few weeks ago when things began to heat up at the border, I thought it extremely odd that religious groups were already in place providing aid and working at immigration holding locations. I had to go back and look it up but I was correct in my recollection that some of these folks were calling themselves ‘brown shirts’ and stirring up controversy at Lackland AB last week. More offensive than the (markedly illegal) subterfuge put in motion by the government is the role the churches are playing in all of this. The words ‘contractor’, ‘security force’, and ‘church’ should never be used in concert. I couldn’t put my finger on it at the time but something seemed off about the church’s involvement.

After the ‘brown shirt’ story first broke, I’ve since seen several Editor corrections noting that the government-contracted security force is actually BCFS and not the more familiar Baptist Child & Family Services. In actuality, though, they are one in the same. (Source: Todd Starnes, the ConservativeTreehouse website) — but why the distinction? Why the need to distort? It’s as if they don’t want the public to know that a religious organization gets a majority of its funding from the government.

Getting down into the weeds it appears that BCFS has created two separate tax exempt identities: one to route government funding and the other for other business interests. I’m a novice where non-profit tax filings are concerned — this may be standard practice, I have no idea. What I can tell you is that the two entities share the same stakeholders, business address, and phone numbers. So these two are definitely one in the same.

Finances combined, the total gross receipts for both equaled roughly $183.49 million for 2011-2012. During this same time period, government grant funding paid to BCFS is almost $134 million. Loosely translated, BCFS receives over 70% of its operating budget from the government.

Within the framework of the immigration debacle at the border, BCFS is presenting itself with distinction as two different functioning players. The government-contracting arm of the Baptist group has no religious affiliation. Whereas, the traditional side exists only to provide humanitarian aid. And never the two shall meet, at least where their PR is concerned. But where do their loyalties reside? Is it with philanthropy or with the pursuit of the governmental grants? For all the talk of separation of church and state, I would think that
this would be of the most concerning and worthy of debate. Speciously, it would seem that BCFS is an acting agent of the government first and foremost. Its role as Good Samaritan follows distantly behind. At minimum, BCFS needs to explain itself, as the social contract that churches hold with society has been breached.

Our borders should be defended from all invaders with lethal force. All illegal immigrants currently in the US should be dropped off at their home countries embassies and prevented from leaving the embassies unless it’s to return to their home country. Follow all present immigration laws. Period.

  • laurelladesborough

Nothing new here…these illegal immigrants have been coming across the border for many months …so that is why those churches applied for grants….which by the way…does not fall under the jurisdiction of the president…he does not receive or approve grant applications. That falls under the jurisdiction of specific government agencies!

    • Yankee495

Who approves grants would be a moot point if he would close the border.

My 74 friend called me from Texas this morning. He said Obama can’t deport them because of a law Bush passed. Would be a moot point if Obama would close the border.

Obama has a pen and a phone. He uses executive orders when it benefits him to bypass congress which is not always legal.

Why not draw up an emergency bill and take a vote? A bill that allows instant deportation of others as be do those from Mexico?

Because then Obama could’t get his 3.7 billion to squander and he’d (the party) loose millions of future democrat voters!

Why was this not at crisis levels before? Because Obama’s policies were not in place before. Border fences are racist, Google it. Border agents are not allowed to defend themselves even while under attack, Google it, they’re under orders to retreat.

Mexico has made agreements with countries south of it to help illegals get to the US. In fact, most of the info is in these comments, no need to Google it. It is the coming North American Union and Obama is just lying to the people, read more comments, they contain links and proof.

Why not find the source docs and link them? I’m not doubting the Catholic connection, but I’m definitley doubting the Baptist one. Here’s why, you indicated Baptist Child & Family Services, but they were erroneously identified in at least one news story that was retracted: “Editor’s note: The contractor running the refugee camp at Lackland Air Force Base is “BCFS,” not “Baptist Family and Children’s Services” — as noted in a previous version of this story.”: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/07/02/medical-staff-warned-keep-quiet-about-illegal-immigrants-or-face-arrest/. I suspect that the source your’re looking for was not Baptist. Two Baptist organizations have addressed their noninvolvement with the feds here: http://www.bchfs.com/ & see press release in here: http://www.baptistfamily.org/. This is the organization that is working with the feds at the border: http://bcfs.net/correcting-misinformation-about-lackland-operations. They’re denying the allegations, but whatever. I think you need to rethink your post. That said, we really do need to know who got the escort contract in that January RFP; the status of that contract; any contract mods to increase the scope and $$; …. Everything went pretty quiet after the story broke. Why?

    • SSK1ATX

There is a ton of source information listed below in the comments section. Specifically, look to my last reply to Yankee495. The retraction you noted is not correct. I looked further into the Baptist Child & Family Services financials and the two organizations are one in the same. Not exactly sure why but their organization has deemed it necessary to create 2 separate tax entities where only one receives the federal grant funding. Though the BCFS website does not indicate that there is an affiliation, I can assure you that they are deeply entwined. Even further, 70 percent of the combined funding for both the entities comes directly from federal grants.

    • SSK1ATX

I found a better source to help clear things up with regards to the Baptists involvement from their perspective on the “Associated Baptist Press” website. abpnews(dot)com

That said, I don’t think that they or the government is being completely forthcoming with regards to their involvement.

Jeh Johnson recently said before Congress: “I have also witnessed how the not-for-profit Baptist Child & Family Services stepped in quickly and is also doing a remarkable job housing the unaccompanied children at Lackland, identifying and then placing them consistent with HHS’s legal obligations. All of these dedicated men and women deserve our recognition, support and gratitude.”

Mr. Johnson did not mention the some $134 million dollars that the government has already paid (2011-2012) to BCFS to provide these services. I appreciate their services but they are also an organization that actively seeks out federal grant and contract moneys to fund a majority of their operations. Mr. Johnson further implies that BCFS stepped in of their own volition. The truth is somewhere in between as they are also under contract and legally obliged.

      • Minnie Pearl

Thanks for your info. What’s interesting is that they’ve purged anything related to Baptist from their website: http://www.discoverbcfs.net/about. I would like to know more about them in order to establish which, if any, denomination they were ever associated with. We know that Christian pastors and churches are being turned away from the holding areas; they don’t even want their toys and supplies.

        • SSK1ATX

That’s what’s so bizarre about all of this. On the ground level, pastors and church groups are being excluded. Yet, the corporate arm of the denomination (which is a terrible way to put it) seems as though it has a great deal of interaction with the government — at least from a funding perspective. Someone needs to audit the books of the ORR because I don’t think that there’s a clear understanding who is involved and who has been contracted to “help”. In the case of BCFS, the government lauds the benevolent actions as if they were spontaneous while not admitting that BCFS was legally obliged to perform these services. It gives the perception to the public that the most Christian among us (if that really even exists) think it is best to move forward with integrating these people into society. The non-disclosure is suspect and definitely worthy of scrutiny.

I stumbled across a letter sent last year to Congress that you might want to take a look at. Apparently, a list of religious organizations 8-pages long knew a year and a half ago that there was an imminent crisis looming. In the letter they explained that the Office of Refugee Resettlement’s budget projections were off and that they needed more money. What I find so intriguing is that these churches and religious non-profits are coordinated enough to send a single letter to Congress.

          • Minnie Pearl

A few points of clarification. There are many Baptist denominations. I grew up American Baptist, which is now pretty liberal but with conservative subsets. Southern Baptists are generally more conservative. There are about 50 more Baptist denominations and then you get to all the non-affiliated churches and organizations that just say they’re Baptist. That’s why I’m interested in this BCFS organization. They appear, from the surface, to be affiliated with no denomination and appear not to want to be associated with Baptists. My guess is that the purging/hiding of the Baptist part has more to do with gaining government contracts without protests by atheists and such. But they may not be Baptist at all and just used that name to gain credibility back when being a Christian was valued. I noticed that they aren’t listedo on the letter to Congress.

Also, I’ve always referred to this Refugee Arival Data page, which has the numbers and origin of refugees by year. Unfortunately, they haven’t updated it for 2013 and now I’m wondering if they’re hiding that data from us. I’ve been focusing on all the Middle East, Africa and Asia (mainly Muslims) being relocated in our cities. We know how the Somalis have transformed cities into warzones, but those coming over the border have never been deemed refugees so there’s no listing of them: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/orr/resource/refugee-arrival-data

          • SSK1ATX

Thanks for the Refugee Arrival Data page. If you wouldn’t mind, let me know if you find any other information about BCFS, likewise, I’ll do the same. Have a great weekend!

          • Minnie Pearl

Sure will. Thanks for setting me straight on the one issue too.

          • SSK1ATX

Well, I was slightly off on my tally. BCFS has taken in upwards of $234 million to aid and assist unaccompanied alien children in the last 5 years. Fairly low 2010-2011 but it spikes high 2012-2014. We are spending an insane amount of money on this program. My math gets a little wonky after 100 billion but if I’m adding correctly, this year $1.6847 trillion has been awarded in grants, contracts, direct payments, etc. Wowza. But that’s nothing compared to 2013. We spent $2.8645 trillion dollars on the unaccompanied alien children program. Go to usaspending (dot)gov and dig around. It’s insane.

  • Barney Dupre

Clearly federal grants to churches is the way govt shows us what religion it favors for America. Those churches who receive no federal Grants are clearly unfavored.

The Catholics and Baptists who are serving Stinky should learn from this German protestant minister who lived in Germany under Hitler:

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.

“Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

“Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.

“Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.”

    • Scrap Iron

There are different versions of this. It my understanding that the original source for this starts with First they came for the communists which makes better sense. Communists are a specific branch of socialists that the Nazis hated. To say socialist is too vague, at least as a translation to English. Nazi are socialists as well. They hated a rival socialists like the communists much like Sunni hate Shiite but they are both Muslim to the rest of world.

I find interesting the Catholic Bigotry and conspiracy bunk. Jesus told us to welcome the immigrant among us for we were all immigrants. He also told us to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, house the homeless, visit the sick and those in prison. The work of the Catholic Church and the Catholic Charities is doing that work. Catholic Charities has received federal grants since the 1st president Bush administration and his faith base initiative and thousands points of life. The reason was that Church agencies are more efficient in using the funds. This has not changed. There is no conspiracy with the current administration. These funds are used to care for unoccupied youth until their are court hearings and they can be sent back to their countries of origins. This program has existed before the Obama Administration. It has been kept secrete until now because since these are minor children, they have privacy rights.
I am assumed of anyone who calls themselves Christian and particular my fellow Catholics who cannot see past politics to see the need to take care of our brothers and sisters. In God’s kingdom there are no borders.

      • FAB

I consider myself a conservative and I am part of the Catholic Church. This has nothing to do with “Church Liberals”, it has to do with caring for those in need. The church did not cause this crisis, it is responding to it using the resources that are available to it. If that is federal grant, so be it. These children need help, no matter what their status is. I’m not going to ask a child who is hungry ” are you legal and do you have your papers” before I feed them, or an adult for that matter. That’s cold hearted and not Christian by any stretch of the imagination.

        • Rocketman

Then open your doors until you cannot live in your own house – and shut up.

        • Beatrice

The USA accepts immigrants, there is a legal way to enter this country. When you break in, steal from other childrens mouths, have to hide, and sneaky, send money back to your country again taking out of childrens mouths, encourage others to break in and steal don’t you dare declare yourself a Christian!

          • FAB

Remember all Christians are sinners. Christ ministered to the sinners. We are called to forgive the sinner and to help them.
As far as breaking the law, what law? We have allowed our border to open and have not enforced it by choice. We have enjoyed cheep labor from the food we buy to homes we live in. The employers who hire and then pay them less than a livable wage and don’t pay income tax or social security on them are the ones who are stealing from our children.
They have to hide because at the same time that we use them for our labor we then want to abuse them. The same law we don’t enforce that they come into the county we then want for show to do a few roundups and it lets the politicians say, “oh see, we are sending them back”
Finally yes I can call myself a Christian, because a Christian first looks at the needs of his fellow brother or sister first, gives them help that is needed. If you have ever gotten a speeding ticket, you have broken the law to the same extent these people have . Perhaps your well fare should be in jeopardy. Or are you casting the first stone?

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I’m not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn’t object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.

      Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

  • Randall W Morris

Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him and He began to teach them, saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness,
    for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

  • Randall W Morris

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.”

“Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.”

I think it’s easy to say “churches” but I’ll bet it is more than likely “church charities.” Those are just like any fund raising organization and subject to the same sorts of questionable activities.

  • keith_d_96

Providing federal assistance to faith-based organizations was one of President Bush’s top priorities. Nine days after Bush’s inauguration, he introduced his “Faith-based Initiative”, which would encourage religious organizations to use federal funds to help the needy (including undocumented children). He set up a White House office for this initiative, and established Centers in the Justice House and Urban Development, the Department of Labor, Education, and in Health and Human Services to ensure that faith-based or religiously affiliated organizations could receive federal money with minimal ‘red tape’. And he did all of this through executive orders. Grants to faith-based charities under the Bush administration averaged over $2 billion annually, with more than 1300 total awards.

    • EdinColorado

Are we back to Bush again.. Find where Bush had children gathered up in a foreign country and pushed across the border.. Can’t find that, can ya.. But there’s plenty of credibility that this is what Obama did and intended to do with these grants… Check the money flow…. INstead of just repeating what your lying Oblamer administration tells you to repeat..

      • keith_d_96

I am simply saying that the ability to direct federal funding to religious entities (which I am not exactly comfortable with) was established by the previous administration. Through executive order, no less.

From what you and I can read in the statements of others in this thread, anyone expressing hatred and frustration towards the Obama administration and the Catholic/baptist churches involved should look to the past to find the true culprit(s). As for Obama rounding up South American children and herding them into the US, get real. This crisis has been brewing for the past decade.

Is Obama abusing the Faith-based Initiative laid out by Bush? Bush’s “compassionate conservatism” approach is laudable and I have no doubt it is being used appropriately to help deal with a humanitarian crisis of the most important kind, one that deals with protecting children. If churches can’t be trusted with the responsibility to protect and care for them while the law figures out what to do with them, no one should be.

      • keith_d_96

Bush’s “compassionate conservatism” was laudable, and I see no problem with providing funds to churches or the like to help with the current child refugee crisis. He would have done the same thing Obama has done. What proof do you have that Obama ‘gathered up’ children and ‘pushed’ them across the border? Even Fox News is blaming violence in Central America as the reason they’re flocking to the U.S. In droves.

I understand that immigration policies that are in place now are a problem and are partly to blame for the mess. But perhaps the current administration saw this coming, and these grants were one way of preparing for the crisis. No matter why, they are here now and we have to have the resources to deal with them. Having community organizations at the ready to assist is a blessing, not a curse. From reading these comments here, I think more people need some ‘compassionate conservatism’…

  • Thomas Emeka Schaefer

    No surprise to me…

  • Renardo Weathersby

Generally, I -and in the past many readers- would call this conspiracy theory. But when you pair them with the recent words of former Gen. Petraeus sits on CFR-Council for Foreign Relations, an elite group think tank, – Middle East uprising? It all fits if you dig down and grasp what has been happening.
Blame the churches if you want to, for that is your right to draw you own concusions. I doubt the churches know the full left agenda… most of us don’t know the FULL agenda, but churches are most likely useful tools. IMO

    • Observing Christian

Churches’ primary mission is to present our Lord’s gospel message to anyone who will listen so that theit spirit can be reconciled to God. This is commanded by Jesus the Christ. Beyond thys, churches conduct programs to bnefit those who need various kinds of help in order to demonstrat the Love of God and the love of God’s people. This, too is a comm anment from our Lord Jesus. Beyond this, most churches seek to stay out of secular politics because our fight is with spiritual evil first. Individual Christians in democratic countries can and should be engaged in social and political issues as good citizens, but always keeping in mind that our real home is not earth bound but in heaven. Christians are passing through this world of woe as strangers, trying to do God’s will as His agents (when we do not fail and sin).
With this in mind, many of us are most distressed about this influx if illegal aliens. But they are here and the children who have no other help need shelter and even love while they are here and as long as their situation is not settled. Churches can do this better han the government can. If this makes us fools, then that is your opinion. God commands our charity to the stranger in our land.

There is no such thing as “the Baptist Church.” I once read someone’s quip that there are “as many kinds of Baptists as there are apples,” and that’s about the size of it. I assume this grant was given to an administrative appendage of the Southern Baptist Convention, but this has no association with great numbers of Baptists, including myself.

    • Observing Christian

The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a voluntay association of churches who happen to agree on key points of dogma. There is no ecclesiastic hierarchy with bishops cardinals & etc. SBC manages domestic and foreign mission programs and this may include funded institutions like shelters hospitals, and seminaries. Decisions on management are never made without individual and corporatr prayer seking our Lord’s direction. This works remarkably well. Too bad more organisations do not seek help and guidance from God’s Holy Spirit.

  • TJefferson44

If this is true, I’m not surprised about the Catholic church, but I have to say, I am about the Baptists. If this is true, they will have both prostituted themselves for government money and The Lord Jesus will judge them both for their greed.
They have also become pawns in the government’s scheme to break the Constitution of this great nation.
I hope the few remaining leaders in the government with a little bit of integrity will put their careers on the line and expose this feverishly.

Why is all the supplies TPTB have been buying right outside the point of impact? Why has the US bought all the MRE’s, coffins bullets…. it’s because when this thing happens, there will be no electricity for years, millions dead that need to be buried, most people live within 5 miles of the east coast line, they will be gone, dead, washed out to sea, bodies decaying everywhere, and inlet waterways will be flooded… this will be an earth-changing event … and instead of hearing about it on the internet, we need the President of the United States to head to the podium, and instead of campaigning like a jack-azz, tell the people what, where, when, and how this is going to play out, so we can prepare to leave the coast, save our loved ones, and/or kiss our azz goodbye!

  • NoNewsHere

Are there ‘any’ actual ‘Christians’ on this thread, you should all read back to yourselves your comments….. The church always helps the poor, the downtrodden…… I guess their preaching fell on deaf ears, cold hearts, and dead souls …. just listen to yourselves …… This muslim prez wouldn’t partner with any church if his life depended on it….. so this must be really really big to give them millions to save these families….

  • Judy Lindsay

I do not know how people can send their children any where alone. ???? However if they come here we do not have any choose but to take care of them. These are children we are talking about. Children that are alone. I am a Christian. Would Christ turn them away? I think not. If churches will rise to meet the need, why should we question it. I would be glad to help them. Perhaps we need children s homes for these young people who have no place to go, and have no voice of their own. Once again : THESE ARE CHILDREN! May God bless and keep them.

    • SWohio

Fine. These (well at least a few of them) are children, children stuffed full of HIV, scabies, live, antibiotic resistent TB, Swine flu, MRSA staph infections, syphilis, and other communicable infestations. “One person can infect a thousand people, and then that thousand can infect thousands more. There is an exponential increase,” warns public health expert Dr. Elizabeth Van Vliet.

Already, Border Patrol agents are getting sick from these contacts; soon these kids will start showing up in your public school. If you found it annoying when little Jake caught that cold that was going around, wait till he comes home with swine flu.

May God bless them and send them back where they came from, before they infect thousands of Americans.

    • Dee100

What crap. If their parents – who deliberately put these kids in harm’s way – don’t care, why should I be forced to support them?! Rather arrest their parents! Too many women were interviewed on the news stating they paid $5,000 per child to push them through our borders. I don’t have $5,000 to throw away. Let them pay to send them back!

  • Dana Davis

I am very understanding on the level of mass mind; that the Church as such is autonomous and its purpose worldwide. But where is the American separation of church and state? Also, while I am well aware that the needy are of more relevance, occupying in essence a higher social order within the Church, displacing America’s middle class would seem somewhat antithetical to the cause.

  • jo

You have to be a moron if you did not see this coming. The immigration laws were rarely inforced for the Latin community that came here illegally. What did everyone think would happen?

  • Richard Howell

What about the seperation of church and state ?

    • Observing Christian

The government is not promoting any denomination az a state religion (re.: POTUS Thomas Jefferson to the Pastor of Danbury Baptist Church) by contracting shelter for minors who are illegal aliens.

      • Laura Jensen

They are still contracting with religious organizations! You know, those tax exempt ones that are NOT paying taxes but also benefitting from all of us who actually do pay.

        • sinead9191

However, as previously stated by others, these faith-based organizations (as well as faith-based schools that have higher academic standards than public schools) are able to function more economically, efficiently and practically with volunteers than any government agency with its miles of red tape and involvement of myriad personnel. And, those who staff these volunteer organizations (and/or send their children to faith-based schools) DO pay taxes for which they DO NOT BENEFIT!

  • Pro-ChoiceTexan

I question the veracity of this story. But, let’s assume for a brief moment that it is true. George W. Bush is the one who started “faith based initiatives.” And, if you people are all huffy and puffy and all outraged about this, why are you also not outraged about private charter schools getting taxpayer money to support their private schools, which among other things, often includes a curriculum that teaches creationism as valid science and whose student exit those schools with often a substandard education. Where is your outrage about all of that?

    • Laura Jensen

You are so far off base here its almost comical. Charter schools don’t have vouchers, private schools do. SOME private schools are religious and teach creationism, charter schools are by in large steeped in science. While some charter schools are for profit many are not, they are public schools. Nearly always private school scores on college readiness exams are far better than children attending public schools.

      • sinead9191

Thank you. You made my correction to Pro-Choice Texan unnecessary!

    • Patrick Henry

Except that the William Wilberforce Anti-Trafficking Act was passed in 2008 – under Bush but just before Obama took office. The RINOS and the Dims are responsible for shifting UAC to the HHS and the ORR under the HHS instead of where they belong – INS. It is the very special care they outlined for children in that Act of 2008 that has enticed so many children and pregnant women from OTM (other than Mexico) to come here because they know that a) they will be housed, fed, clothed, educated and given medical care while they are waiting for their hearings and b) Obama has indicated that he considers children like these to be Dreamers and he is going to “use his pen” to grant them amnesty.

      • sinead9191

All of your statement is true — with one exception. The INS (Immigration & Naturalization Service) has not existed since 2003, when it was merged with U.S. Customs Service (the oldest federal law enforcement agency in the U.S.) and split into U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP & BP). The newly formed agencies were then taken from Treasury and Justice departments (Customs and INS, respectively) and rolled into the new Department of Homeland Security, along with the Coast Guard, and Secret Service, and other new agencies such as TSA, FEMA and CIS (Citizenship & Immigration Services), as well as directorates and some supporting agencies. While the move was supposed to streamline and invigorate protection of the U.S. and prevent any more attacks on American soil, in many ways, it has been a disaster. Specially trained and specialized agents, special agents, officers and civilians were lumped together and expected to interpret and enforce laws for which they were not trained. And, now, under the current administration, many have been told to stand down and are forbidden to perform their sworn duties. That is what we have to endure.

  • Давид Домингез

Ok guys, lets chill a minute. That is a pretty sensational headline. The truth is this is part of the Faith-based programs cooperating with the Feds; a program started under GW Bush. Since the Feds are forbidden to jail illegal minors under a law called Flores V. Reno, they are required to ship the children to shelters run by non-profits. Many of these non-profits are secular but some like Catholic Charities and BCFS are faith-based. Basically, these non-profits are hired by the Feds to house illegal children caught in the border, then they are compensated for their expenses. As someone else mentioned both Catholic Charities and BCFS both run social services in the name of the Catholic and Baptist churches respectively yet function pretty autonomously from their respective churches and hierarchy. (It is hard to make the argument that the White House could manipulate doctrinal or pastoral teachings of thee churches) If there is any true concern to be had from this revelation, it is the fact that since the Obama administration was giving these hefty grants to these organizations (no doubt to expand the capacities of their shelters) then it would serve as proof that the administration was anticipating the high number of detentions we are currently seeing at the border.

    • SWohio

Up until this year, no more than 2000 illegal ‘children’ came across our border in a year.

Care to remind me how many have invaded America so far this year? I’ll help you – it’s a lot more than 2000.

On January 29, 2014, the Department of Homeland Security advertised for a vendor to escort 65,000 “unaccompanied alien children,” indicating that they not only knew the alien invasion was coming, they planned it.

George Bush WAS NOT president in 2014. Or 2013. Or 2012. Or 2011. Or 2010. OR 2009.

Perhaps you are not aware of that. Now you are. Facts matter, you should try one.

      • Давид Домингез

haha! Really? Everything I mentioned in my initial comment was factual.

        1) To say that the Feds were expecting 65,000 this year is proof that they planned this invasion is a huge stretch. What are you basing that on? Where is the smoking gun? Now, I’m not putting it past the government to do such a thing. But until I see hard evidence that this was directly orchestrated by the Feds instead of say they anticipating this surge based on the total numbers from previous years, i’m skeptical. Again, I wasn’t born yesterday and am well aware that our government does some shady things in order to push their agenda.

        2) Me bringing up GW Bush is not me blaming him for this. I was simply stating a FACT that the cooperation between faith-based programs and the Feds happened during his administration. At the time, many conservatives welcomed it as a step in the right direction. However, the problem with that is that if you go to bed with the Fed, you might not like yourself the next morning. Know what I mean? Some of the Founding Father, like Jefferson advocated for a separation between Church and State not in order to keep the Church from influencing the State but to keep the State from influencing the Church.

    • Dee100

Catapults are cheap and a great deterrent. No planes needed, no gas used.

  • deanadams

There have always been unaccompanied minors arriving at our borders.

  • david dorian

    One problem:

“Diversity” means being chased out of your neighborhood.
“Diversity” means being chased out of your school.
“Diversity” means being chased out of your job.
“Diversity” Means Chasing Down the Last White Person.
    “Diversity” means White Genocide

Anti-whites expect an entire race to disappear from the face of the earth without even mentioning, not even whispering about it.

    Nobody’s flooding Africa with Non-Africans
and giving them free health care, affirmative action and special privileges.

Only White Countries are doing it, only White children are affected, and only White politicians are allowing it.

    Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

  • Cindy Morgan

Funny, I searched the UTEP report for the word BAptist and Catholic, and nothing came up. Where are your sources to prove the “bankrolling” of these churches? Next question: who would you want to care for these children, the government? or religious organizations, who tend to do things efficiently and cheaply?
As a Catholic who helped found and helps run a food bank, we have this discussion. Should we provide food for illegals? The unanimous answer is always, YES! Border protection is the responsibility of our government. Care of souls and the dignity of the person is the responsibility of the believer. Until our government stands up and defends our borders, these illegals will come in to the US. As Christians, it’s our duty to care for them until they return home (hopefully, not in the US).

    • Dee100

Bull$hit! Start by caring for your own citizens – such as the disabled who live in pain 24/7 – unlike the ABLE-BODIED THIEVING illegal criminals!

  • tk-atty

This a disgrace, but I have said all along that he was planning this. He is just waiting for his Islamic friends to come over to. Why won’t our elected officials ENFORCE OUR LAWS!

  • Ignatz

If you believe that children who are fleeing violence and come to you for help should be sent back to what they are fleeing from – STOP PRETENDING TO BE A CHRISTIAN.

You are utterly reprobate, and know NOTHING of Christ.

    • Citizen_Jerry

That’s a rather harsh denunciation, especially when a survey of the actual illegals showed it has nothing to do with violence. Most of them came because they believed they could stay. Even Christians (in your hypocritical rant) are hesitant to welcome in people who are here because they kicked down the door.

    • Alecto

Actually we’re Americans. You’re the reprobate you pedophile child-raping CATHOLIC PIG.

      • Ignatz

        [Actually we’re Americans.]

The America I grew up in was a great nation and a beacon of the world. Not a pack of angry shitheads who screamed insults at those who came to them for help. A nation that does that is NOT a great nation.

        • Alecto

America and Americans stand for the principle of the rule of law, not men. Catholics do not. In fact, an argument can be made that with an increasing percentage of Catholics in this country, Americans have lost their rights, their privileges and been bankrupted by this evil cult. I look at what Catholics are doing to undermine citizenship and I see problems ahead. We should have strictly limited immigration by Catholics and from Catholic countries. Unfortunately, such countries only perpetuate crime, corruption, poverty and misery. That’s the Catholic Church’s legacy.

          • Micky Baker

What’s sad is that you actually believe what you’re stating. Don’t generalize against all Catholics. You see, that makes you a bigot.

          • Alecto

And bigotry is in the eye of the beholder; ad hominems are not arguments and unless pewsitters get up and leave or begin to fight their leadership (and GOOD LUCK with that one) they are silently sanctioning what their church is doing.

          • Micky Baker

It’s not an ad hominem when you are in fact a bigot. You can’t even grasp how that’s possible that you’re a bigot can you?

          • Alecto

Another “good” Catholic stomping his feet until he gets his way? Meh.

          • Micky Baker

I’m not Catholic. Why is it that those like you who claim to be “tolerant”, are the most bigoted people?

          • Alecto

I never claimed to be tolerant. Tolerance is not a virtue, especially when the tolerance is of evil and immorality. Fidelity to God is a virtue. Fortitude is a virtue. Your multi-culti indoctrination is showing.

          • Micky Baker

You’re tolerant to evil and immorality. You’re a bigot. That’s evil. Dude, STOP SMOKING POT OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU’RE SMOKING, so you can salvage the brain cells you have left. None of those you’re using now are helping you.

          • Alecto

Says who? You? Doesn’t make it true, now does it, you narcissistic, pretentious, tax-exempt jerk. I’d like a country to leave to my kids. That ISN’T POSSIBLE when Catholics refuse to obey the laws.

Problem is that Catholic culture is so perverted and smug, it won’t understand what hits it. Americans are peace-loving, charitable and fair people. We believe in the rule of law, not men. Catholics undermine the laws to suit themselves while shouting “persecution” when their activities rightfully threaten their tax-exempt status.

I won’t be happy until Catholics are 1) paying taxes for all of their property, activities, 2) lose access to the taxpayer trough and 3) are forced to reform their subversion of our Constitution or leave the U.S.

          • Micky Baker

You can’t comprehend, can you? I’m not a Catholic. You assumed that I was because you hate Catholics.

Americans believe in the rule of law, not you idiot progressives. Just remember whose giving the Catholic charities the money, they’re not conservatives. Marxists have infiltrated parts of the Catholic and Christian religions, and Marxists ARE NOT either Catholic or Christian. It’s not something you shouldn’t know. It’s something you don’t want to grasp because of you’re preconceptions. You’re not a good person.

Catholics aren’t subverting it, progressives(marxists) are.

          • Alecto

Can you read? I wrote that Americans stand for the principle of the rule of law, not men. Apparently you simply ignore what you want.

Catholics ARE subverting it. Whether that makes them fellow travelers or useful idiots is in the eye of the beholder.

          • Micky Baker

Yes, the rule of law that the Marxists BROKE by giving money to churches. They were never supposed to do that. PROGRESSIVES/MARXISTS subverted the Constitution and infiltrated religion. You have to admit now that progressives are theocrats, not conservatives, don’t you?

The rule of law, “YOU CANNOT PROHIBIT THE EXERCISE OF RELIGION”, but that’s what you want to do, isn’t it? You’re just another dumb progressive who is in violation OF THE LAW.

        • Dee100

It also didn’t have sponges stealing food, housing, medical and $750/month while they sat on their butt spewing babies out with the rapidity of maggots breeding in manure, while our disabled who live in pain 24/7 are taxed to support these ABLE-BODIED illegals!

          • Ignatz

You don’t think the Irish had a lot of kids? What are you, stupid?

Just great, though: Attack contraception, try to ban abortion, then complain that people have too many kids. You people are some pieces of work, you know that?

          • Micky Baker

The Irish didn’t come here and live on welfare their entire lives either.

    • Dee100

Thou shalt not STEAL! And that is exactly why these sponges are invading our country. THEY are the ones who are attacking and invading. THEY are the ones who should show Christian ethics!

    • Dee100

Here’s their hatred for America, its laws, and citizens who are taxed to support the ABLE-BODIED, arrogant criminals – including our disabled!
LA RAZA (“The Race”) SPEAKS OUT
Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets; “Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.
Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council. “They’re afraid we’re going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They’re right. We will take them over . . . We are here to stay.”
Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico, “The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot.”
Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas ; “We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . . I love it. They are #$%$ in their pants with fear. I love it.”
Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party, “Remember 187–proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens–was the last gasp of white America in California.”
Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, “California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn’t like it should leave!”
Jose Pescador Osuna, the Mexican Consul General openly admits INVASION, “We are practicing ‘La Reconquista’ in California.” “Another of my priorities here in Los Angeles has been to promote the economic development of Mexico,” he said!

      • James Edwards

This pretty much sums up the fight that is brewing here in America between ‘White-Conservative America’, the Muslims, who want their ‘Sharia Law’, and the ‘far right Hispanics’, who believe they will eventually ‘take back’ California, Texas, and the entire American Southwest.

The question is, can a compromise be made? Sound familiar? Well, that’s what they were talking about in 1859! “COMPROMISE”. And, guess what – it didn’t work! It came down to who would be ‘LAST MAN STANDING’, and erupted in a civil war that left almost half a million Americans, north and south, dead, and a totally devastated South.

With over 300 million ARMS in the hands of Americans – some of whom will die before they give up the America their forefathers fought so hard to win and build – there is an old saying by some long forgotten General: “If it’s war they want – then we will give them a war they will never forget!”

If it ever comes down to that – America will not be finished – but, America will have to start over. And, the price in blood, and rebuilding, will be more costly than the last civil war. Much, much more.

        I pray that never happens.

    • .rancher.

We send billions in aid to those toilets. It is their problem. They turn our cities into toilets when they get here and the civilized citizens flee their homes.

    • Terece Erickson

This has nothing to do with religeon dumbass! Everything to do with the USA being a sovereign nation that has borders. Show me anywhere in the Bible that God gave YOU a right to judge! You clearly know nothing about Christ!

    • Micky Baker

Wait, so you’re saying that parents that call themselves “Christians” paying coyotes(illegal human traffickers) is okay because, you know, they’re children?

    • Nonamea Noface

If you believe this is all about children at the border, you are really stupid. The children are a distraction and their countries are just as safe as our inner cities they are being sent to. This is planned.. . Wipe out the blacks first , then start on the whites, Asians ect.

  • Dee100

Catapults are cheap and a great deterrent. No planes are needed; no gas spent and a PERMANENT solution to arrogant criminals who are INVADING.

  • Jason Priestley

Where is the documentation for this? Before you flush every Church down the toilet, you will need to follow the money with evidence. This ain’t it. This is supposition. I’m all for nailing the Government funding Churches, but give me something here.

    • another_engineer

USCCB gets over 50% of it’s “charitable” money from federal grants.. same with all the other catholic “charity” organizations.. it’s been that way for decades yet the liberals leave it alone because the RCC has become a global socialist organization.

    • Micky Baker

That’s Time Magazine. It wasn’t really that hard to find. Try it next time. I know the leftist really hope that this isn’t true about what has happened, but it is.

  • http://Rfgamble.is-an-engineer.com/ Robert Gamble

There needs some campaigns to send a disgusted letters or posts to the institutions that are part of this collusion. Tell them stop or quit getting ANY member funds. Power of the purse… something our House needs to use to fight these illegal actions by every other agency. Post this article on your institutions’ page or group and especially on your own areas.

  • James Edwards

CATHOLICS and BAPTIST church members need to SERIOUSLY ask questions of their LEADERSHIP in this brazen, and ill-conceived attempt by the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION to use THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH to support their LEFTIST AGENDA to IMPORT DEMOCRATIC VOTERS – because, that’s ALL this really is, wrapped up in LIBERAL HOG-WASH about ‘helping’ the poor ALIENS!

Christian leaders who FOMENT this type of political garbage should be SUMMARILY FIRED, and replaced with leadership that puts AMERICA FIRST – and illegal aliens, WAY DOWN THE LIST OF PRIORITIES!

IF YOU ARE A CATHOLIC, or a BAPTIST – ask YOUR priest or preacher how HE stands, and what HE is doing in YOUR BEHALF. You may find yourself GOING TO ANOTHER CHURCH!

    • Micky Baker

Absolutely. All of the distractions thrown out there by the Obama administration made us miss these important facts. It’s really disgusting. We should also be careful not to lump in all Catholic and Christian churches in with this. This liberation theology that has infiltrated the churches while the left blames the right of wanting a theocracy.

    • A Friend

Don’t just talk to them about it, let them feel it financially. If your donations are going towards illegals, you have a choice not to donate to that church anymore. Give your money to organizations that will help people who haven’t broken laws that are in need.

  • Karen Sherry Brackett

All totaled Obama paid the Catholic church 24 million and the Lutheran church 11 million to smuggle Muslims in. Given Francis just made John 23rd a saint last year also says a lot about the Catholic stand on Islam; because John 23rd was the pope who set up Vatican II which states that all Muslims will go to heaven if they are “sincere” about Islam. Catholics only have 10% of the American population and they are desperate to take a majority control of the most financially successful country in the world being America. No doubt they are probably sponsoring a lot of the illegal immigration coming from Latin America as well where Latinos are predominantly Catholic. The only odd mix in this is that reportedly Francis is also a Freemason who has deep ties to England and always pushes to re-establish English control on America. Freemasons believe that the Windsor family are direct descendants of Jesus and Mary. Elizabeth Windsor used to attend the Vatican once annually always dressed in black. Last year was the first year she did not wear black.

  • Tammy Demoreuille

Baptist Child & Family Services is NOT in any way, shape of form connected to the Baptist Church and I wish news media sources would do their research before they print such misleading information.

  • Judith Hitt

I’ve known for some time due to the extensive research I’ve personally conducted many, many religions, churches, faiths, pastors were just as corrupt as Obama and many past politicians. America, you had better know how deep this seed of corruption goes. Please do your own research as I did so that you yourself will know the truth when someone shares it with you.. I have been personally attacked and insulted by others when I share the truth about government, religion, history or if I dare say it Israel. Yes, even Israel. Israel is no ally you had better swallow that one now whether you like it or not. Therefore America get off your duffs and get Proactive in protecting liberty and defending your national security because your government is not going to plain and simple.
Get involved, educate yourselves so that you are armed with the truth about life. Let’s stand united as one under God, country and flag and defend liberty for once it is lost, it is lost forever.

I have read dozens of paragraphs individuals below, our master government is Rothschild’s banking cartel, owns all our banks, media, hollywood, most mega-corporations, including congress….Our media is brainwashing citizens for decades, so what is the real big plan of America in the near future ?? Obviously, Obama is an impostor, he is not a real muslim….&& he is another puppet of the (so-called jew’s) jewish zionist’s….including many of the christian, catholic, & muslim zionst’s are too…….they are heading to conquer the whole world & killing millions or billions of people is not a problem. Watch my words….

“Baptist Children and Families Service” is not afilliated with any known Baptist Denomination or “Church” it is an organization with the Baptist name, and I anticipate it will take up Where ACORN left off… Mr. Odom bashed religion by not telling the whole truth….or the whole story….

  • Patrick Miletello

You know I remember reading in a FOA by judicial watch that a Lutheran charity group out of San Antonio was being paid to transport illegal alien children. There were invoices in the hundreds of thousands. I thought then, we are pulling down crosses on all public property everywhere, the courts have sided with anyone they can agree with, besides Christians. (May God have mercy on their souls) and the “Federal Gov.” is giving money to churches? What’s wrong with this picture?
