Here’s The Newspaper Ad A Kentucky Doctor Took Out To Tell Community He’s Shutting Down Practice Thanks To Obamacare

A few days ago we posted a picture of a sign that is beginning to pop up in health offices across America. The sign makes it clear health offices want nothing to do with Obamacare and will not honor exchange plans for payment. Click here to see the sign.

Now we’ve got an image of a newspaper ad posted by a Kentucky doctor. The ad announces the doctor will be shutting down after 20 years and bluntly points at Obamacare as the reason.

Kentucky Doctor

Here’s the original tweet with the picture.

lol… someone is getting audited….. just wait for it….

    • Kevin Dwayne Hoke

      YOU?

  • VeeDub57

You know what’s happening because of “obamaDOESN’Tcare”?

EVERYTHING we warned the liberal/socialist/democrat/progressive/gay left would happen!

But as usual, they know everything, so they didn’t wanna hear it from those of us on the RIGHT! They did the same thing when we tried to warn them about the housing collapse.

    • Ron Holt

The housing collapse was due to the greed of republicans. Nice try.

      • Larry A. Walker

Ron you need to utilize facts to support your contention. President Clinton repealed Sarbanes/Oxley laying the foundation for the housing collapse. His support for sub-prime mortgages as well as the greed of wall street and capital hill did the rest.

      • VeeDub57

Speaking of “nice try’s” How about you quit listening to the peter puffing Piers Morgan and check out some facts….. If you dare!

Let’s go to the tape and watch the words come out of their mouths!!! Dems were warned starting in 2005!

Bush tried to do something but was told that all was Fine by Rep F rank And Could Do Nothing About it

      • antoniathatcher

It was thanks to Barney Franks and company forcing banks to give mortgages to people who could not pay for them. And then trying to foist off the bad paper to unsuspecting investors. And the whole fiasco was magnified, because Clinton repealed parts of the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act and the 1956 Bank Holding Company Act. Allowing deregulation for banks investing, yet still holding the federal government liable for their failures. The Glass-Steagall Act had given banks a choice, either be a savings bank with no investments , the feds would guarantee the deposits, or be an investment bank and the feds will not guarantee anything, so that the risk was their own. Clinton, by allowing all banks to invest, yet did not remove the federal guarantees.

        • RVNMike

They won’t listen. I’ve tried for years. Facts are not allowed in liberal town.

          • Hope

I used to be the same way. I used to defend the democratic party with great passion. Now I am seeing that I was wrong. I did not vote for Obama in either election, although I am a registered democrat. During his first campaign I didn’t vote at all but I thought that it would be good for the country to have a young, articulate man in office. Well, towards the end of his first term I started reading things that were going on, that were true, that the general public didn’t even hear on the “news” and I began to see that I was wrong. I was wrong for supporting this man just as I was wrong for supporting a dishonest man like Clinton. I still have zero respect for Bush but now it is time for the democratic party to realize that things are not turning up roses. The second time this man ran for office I voted for a republican. The first time in my life. I had to do what I feel was best for this country. What was right. I regret that I ever bought into this man or into Hillary. One thing is for sure everyone I know and many that I do not know are really suffering. I also know people that have committed suicide because they have no way out of the financial nightmare they are in. Directly because of the complete obliteration of decent paying jobs in the town that I live in. I love my town and the people that live here and we have always been a hardworking, law abiding, hospitable people. Now their are no jobs. Now the future looks cold and hard. My heart breaks everyday because I know that I will be next in the line of those who have been forced to the food stamp line. I want to work. I am able to work. I don’t know how other parts of this country are surviving but we are not. I am sorry that I ever supported this man, but I do hope that others will quit fighting. By keeping everyone at each others throats they are getting by with everything they are doing and most of it is wrong.

      • Ron Duke

Ron Holt, The housing collapse was caused by democraps decreeing that Fanny and Freddy had to buy mortgages from low income people who could not qualify for a mortgage. When they could not make their payments, the lenders were getting swamped with bad mortgages and quit lending money. From there it was all downhill. Do you recall Barney Frank, Frank-Dodd, etc?

        • RVNMike

I have been trying to explain this to the idiot liberals for years now. They refuse to listen. They also refuse to research what I say because they know I’m right.
How do you argue with people like that? They are called fanatics for a reason.

      • Branda Drake

I worked for bank of amerce and never once did I seen any republican hold a gun to someone’s head and say buy a house now!!!! What kind of a person believes that the housing bubble was any thing but pure greed that wen unchecked by both parties and most Americans? No one is as much to blame for the housing crisis then those who knew they could not afford to by an over priced home. We all have our selves to blame for housing. However healthcare should never have been forced on anyone. Don’t be a sheepel think for your self.

      • RVNMike

Wrong again Ronnie. Barney Franks had a whole lot to do with that. Heading up the banking committee and making banks do stupid loans to people who couldn’t pay them back.

      • vickie

wrong blame obumass as part of the senate and his ass went to the loan backers with extortion if they didn’t go along with grand play…..again research lazy

  • helovastickman

the train wreck is only getting started.

    • nostudme1

      All aboard!

  • Suescritters

We’re going to see more of these notices. Then what? Get rid of Obama Care.

    • I-Defy

The end game is single payer, always has been. The deadbeats have smelled blood in the water, they are going to take anything since Barry care doesnt work but that was by design

    • David Nance

I would settle for just getting rid of Obama and the trash he loaded our Government with.

  • Frank

I Hate All Stupid-DemonRats-Animals. No Exception.

    • Renato Almeida

Democrats and Republicans are the same shit, both have the same agenda.. wake up

      • jonathondf

        Not all, but most.

      • Wayne Force

Correct Renato, they both strive to enslave people through debt. Republicans do it through war and corporate cronyism while Democrats do it by entitlements and nanny state policies. Both bloat the government with unneeded bureaucracy. And they both do it because they work for the Federal Reserve. A private group of elite who control the currency of the United States and thus controls our government. It is by far the greatest scam and injustice EVER done to the people of this country! “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes it’s laws” — Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild

        • Oldfart

I suggest you move to Somalia. I understand they don’t have much of a government yet.

          • Wayne Force

I suggest you use your brain and not operate on the same BS you have been spoon fed all your life…

          • Oldfart

lol. A conspiracy theorist tells me to use my brain. I have no adequate response to that.

  • Diamanical Johnson

Say what you will this is what happens when niggers are put in charge of running things, Chicago, Detroit, New OrLOLeans (Katrina)

  • Leslie Nichole

It wont matter, honestly. Obamacare is a tax, not a health insurance plan. It will continue on as they intend because the goal is creating more revenue, not ensuring Americans’ health.

    • Bill Woody Jr.

It’s about control. I-Defy has it. Single payer has always been the goal.

  • Jason Camp

yeah like doctors will be effected with everyone being forced to have insurance means doctors will have tons more patiences these guys are jokes doctors and lawyers are the most greedy POS ive ever seen in my life this guy will be out of business for maybe 1 month till his wife forces em back to work

    • Jamey Ainsworth

It takes 3 additional employees to process insurance/medicaid/medicare claims. They are also paid roughly one third (1/3rd) of what a procedure is billed at. It also takes up to six (6) months to get payment from insurance/medicaid/medicare. There is a tipping point at which you can no longer afford to keep treating patients who don’t pay (medicaid/medicare). With 20 million new patients and no increase in providers, who exactly picks up the slack?

      • Oldfart

So, what do doctors do now with patients who can’t pay? Why, they don’t treat them at all. As far as these concerned doctors could care, they could all die. Fortunately, someone passed a law that all patients have to be accepted in an ER. Unfortunately, the law did not actually require the ER to CURE anything, just to stabilize the patient and dump them back out on the street. Guess who pays for that? Why all you bitchy, whiny losers do along with the rest of us. So, why would a bitchy, whiny loser like you guys be against the ACA? Well, we all know why but we’re not allowed to play the race card here, are we?

    • Brad Wiedenheft

actually with the new policies.. most insurance companies only cover for hospitals within their coverage network so small practices won’t be seeing business.

    • SomeGalNTx

You OBVIOUSLY have no clue what you are talking about, and haven’t spent 10 minutes in conversation with an MD talking about anyone’s problems but your own. Let me tell you…when a doc is hauled out of bed at 3am during an ICE storm to come OPERATE on a seriously ill patient, and just does it, then operates all morning, does office, then rounds, then call that night again for many people on Medicare, which pays for shit, and upon whose payment all other insurance companies base their reimbursements, OR the no pays altogether. And for this, they have to maintain an office, staff, malpractice insurance, pay for OR time, and extra people to negotiate the BS that is Medicare and all their BS.
I am an RN and I wouldn’t do their job for nothin! If you were to break it down by the hour, I earn more per hour of actual work than they do.
One of my best friends was a family doc trying to do the family thing and being on call for 72 hrs. Fell asleep behind the wheel and was dead before he was 40.
I urge people to ask some hard questions before assuming you are getting soaked by your doc.
      My doc received

    • jonathan lambert

I dont agree with this obama care plan either, they used it as a front piece to sign off on other bills that were attached to this 1000 page bill that served more for pushing the agenda vs. relating to obama care. but my issue is that there were hardly any real rebuttals against the lack of health care coverage when 75 – 80% of tax paying americans had no health care..something that countries have for all of their citizens even though they have only a fraction of the gdp and wealth that usa has.. and they also provide education for citizens for anyone who wills to be educated to a certain end. why now are the “doctors” and liars..i meant lawyer championing the cause. they should have championed when it was right to do…not just in the way of personal interests, this entire scenario on both sides disgusts me. i’m not on either of their sides.

      • Kerry

When exactly did 75-80% of Americans have no health care? Source?

      • rocketjl

There has never been a time when 70-80% of tax-paying Americans had no health care. You sound like Obama lying to the people, so there is very little reason for anyone to think your comment has a grain of truth in it.

      • jonathondf

I think you should do a bit more reading from a variety of sources.

    • GaylePutt

Are these docs with all these new patients supposed to work 24-7? You can only see so many patients and do it right. I once worked for a practice where you got 10 min. of a doctor’s time and if you had two problems, you had to come back for another appointment. They charged for Rx refills, record transfers and every little thing they could to stay afloat. This is not good medicine.

    • ahm_good

Who do you go to when you need medical or legal help? That’s right, a doctor or a lawyer, so STFU! These people work long, hard hours and pay big bucks for their education, why shouldn’t they be paid well? Why would anyone work that hard or shell out that kind of money otherwise? If everyone felt like you, there would be no doctors or lawyers. Who would diagnose & treat your illness? Who would prosecute criminals? You’re an idiot.

    • me me

actually the most greedy people are the ones like you that made poor choices in your youth and now want society to bail you out…………

  • Avrie

Next Obama will pass a bill ALL Doctors are forced to take Obamacare Pt’s, Medicaid & Medicare patients or be fined & imprisoned if they refuse. What a nazi

    • nostudme1

We’re forced to buy, they’re forced to give away.

    • Robert Y

then we’ll have more doctors closing practice. Government can’t force someone to stay in business either – they could file a Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 bankruptcy and he’s screwed.

      • Carrie Hammond

Yes, but then so are they. Doctors have extremely large student debt and will no longer be able to help people in the field they were trained for. Sad. :-(

        • GaylePutt

My niece is in medical school now…I worry for what her future looks like. My dad was an internist who retired about 1985. He said he was glad he was getting out then because he realized this train was coming.

        • daveh

Carrie, the longest established, most experienced doctors are those who have likely paid off their student debt. When they close shop and retire earlier, we will be left with a pool of young doctors. They will be of less help, as they lack the benefits of experience. They also cannot get practices established firmly without taking on more debt. The practitioner net earnings will plummet, and in turn fewer people will opt to enter the medical field.

      • RVNMike

My doctor has already started closing shop. Says there isn’t any way profits can even pay the bills.

      • Mary Curry

70% of the doctors and 80% of the good hospitals in Ca. are not going to take BHOCare patients. This from the Ca AMA.

    • Oldfart

And he’s coming to get yer gunz next week.

  • NotRocketScience

These doctors really should just switch to a cash only office, they could drop almost all of their office workers since their paperwork would disappear, and they could spend much more time with their patients.

    • Andrew Ritter

When I was little, it used to be that way. You paid for office visits and tests yourself. You had major medical that took care of doctors bills when you were in the hospital as well as your hospital room and any tests you had while you were in the hospital. There was nothing wrong with this way of doing things. Then, because employers wanted to be more competitive, and because of unions, healthcare became covered completely with most paying copays. We did this to ourselves, you know. We wanted more and we got it. Now we complain because the price has increased dramatically. But I believe you are correct. We will have to return to a system where people pay for all outpatient services and where inhospital treatment will be covered. Obamacare will die because they won’t get 7M healthy young people to sign up to support older citizens dealing with serious health issues. Obamacare is going to end up being a train wreck and I, for one, will be happy to see it go the way of the dinosaur.

      • jonathondf

I remember those days as well, everything was cheap due to competition and the US healthcare system was envied by most countries. People had the right to choose their own doctors and most hospitals were run by churches and charities so people didn’t get turned away because they couldn’t pay. Then the government(insurance lobbyists) decided that the insurance companies should have that right instead of “we the people”. Now the insurance/pharma industries own all the hospitals. I’d say the first step at this point is to give the right to choose back to the people.

    • antoniathatcher

Carry no insurance and use a system like ebay to rate the care.

Let it be ‘buyer beware” Bringing all this other stuff in to the process has not improved anything, Taking all the regulation off and making the information about a Doctors level of care easily available would neatly take care of the problem that all this insurance was supposed to protect people from, but has only increased the cost of care to unaffordable levels.

  • Lois Elmore

There will be more. Perhaps that is what Obama is really aiming for.

    • nostudme1

Ethiopian doctors foaming at the mouth.

  • Andrew Ritter

My mom’s copays for her medicine went up $300/mo due to Obamacare. Then her Medigap insurance went up 62%. Mom is 83, lives with me and is on SS. My son-in-law’s employer cut his hrs from 40 to 28 due to Obamacare. They’re short, now, $300/mo. I have one kid moving back home to live with me in 4 weeks with 3 kids of his own. I have another talking about moving back here in the spring with another child. I, myself, am retired, living on a fixed income. I’d like someone to tell this poor excuse for a president that there are only so many rabbits I can pull out of my a$$ because of his radical agenda and/or incompetence. BTW, I never voted for this POS. Shame on you if you did. You should be deported and stripped of your USA citizenship if you voted for this a$$wipe twice.

    • Barbara Evans

      I’m with you Andrew Ritter

    • Carrie Hammond

Thank you for doing what you can to help your family. If you stick together maybe you all will be lucky enough to survive this. Its so sad that people cannot stand on their own in the state of the world, but if you have each other at least you have something. Good luck friend.

      • JoJo58

I agree. Everyone that is capable of working should get a job and pool their money to help out. Obama’s goal is to get everyone on the welfare/food stamp/medicaid train in order to collapse the system. The only system that will end up collapsing is the housing market because people will be abandoning their houses and pooling their resources.

        • Rina VanKleef

You are as full of sch itt as an outhouse rat. I have an idea of where you can shove that tin foil hat of yours.

          • JoJo58

LOL You obviously are clueless as to what is going on around you. It’s too bad you’ve never studied Cloward-Piven, or history. You just keep on being a lemming. It suits you.

I have an idea as to what you can pull your head out of.

      • Linda Bartram

not much i can do had 60% of my lungs removed

        • ConnieJ

Sorry for your disability. I hope that the Obamacare will be able to help you, but don’t count on it.

          • Linda Bartram

            ty hon won
            let me post

          • Rina VanKleef

I had a double lung transplant in 2001. With my insurance I was paying 1500.00 a month – with a 12,700.00 deductible. With the ACA, I now pay 700.00 a month (not eligible for subsidies since I make six figures) with a 6300.00 deductible. The ACA works just fine for me. The insurance I had BEFORE Obama and the ACA, really sucked.

    • Oldfart

I bet you voted for Bush twice though, didn’t you.

      • Gary Doze

ya and the alternative once was the idiot who talks green but burns fosil fuel like it is going out of style and I for one would love to see bush back. anything would be better than what we have now except possibility hillery!

        • Oldfart

Really? You ARE aware that Bush and his economic policies base on Raygun’s voodoo economics and two unfunded wars and deregulation by his Repthuglian buddies are the cause of the economy you are bitching about? I can think of 4000+ families that wish Bush and his lies about Iraq never happened.

          • Ron Duke

Oldfart, your figures are not quite accurate: Obama has spent more money in five years that the total spent in the previous 220 years. None are so blind as those who will not see.

          • John Galvan

My employer provided insurance went up $300 in the last 6 months due to the new mandates of ObamaScare. Poorly thought out government meddling (regulation) never results in a better deal for the people. Where insurance is concerned, if there is more competition allowed within the state, with better information available about their policies, and the ability to take the insurance with you if you leave your employer or move to another state, then, ,we would be better off. When you encourage open competition with ready availability of information for the consumer to make good decisions, we get better, cheaper products. When the government tells you what you have to buy, adds their extra taxes – many hidden, discourages information from being readily accessible, and discourages competition, then you get ObamaScare.

          • Oldfart

The ACA does not regulate insurance company prices. Guess what does. The market. I thought all you repthuglies worshipped market forces.

          • vickie

think again dummy the government is controlling in part the health ins. industry

          • Brenda Stines Mills

the government made deals with insurance companies regarding 0bamacre…..who would get to participate….you know, under the table, closed doors….

          • Abby Sapp

You don’t think for a moment, do you, that the government isn’t going to take its “fair share” for the “hub”? WHY do you think these prices are skyrocketing? The POTUS needs a new suit!

          • jfmoris

You must be a professional idiot.

          • RaconsMom

Oldfart, Wrong again! It’s all the little extras, which obama has mandated, that has raised the cost of insurance. Example, I’m past the age of childbirth, but have to carry childbirth insurance…

          • Peter Gibson

What the he!! are you talking about? You’re either a complete knucklehead and have NO clue on the subject matter, or you really are lying and deflecting specifically for Obama and for your party in general. Why in the world would you do that? What are you here seeking to protect by way of flat out morally and intellectually bankrupted rhetoric and talking points?

Insurance companies have been highly regulated long before the ACA left this stink on them. In fact the insurance industry itself has been historically one of the most highly regulated industries inside the US.

          • Oldfart

You, and most of the other Repthuglian morons in this thread, cannot read. I said the ACA does not regulate health insurance company PRICES. So, try again.

          • Justsomeguy151

And that’s a lie, Libtard dumbass. All the evidence one needs to prove it is show the prices before ObummaCare was forced on America and after.

          • FaithWill

How can that be so when it regulates WHAT IS COVERED?? Is critical thinking not one of your strong suits? When you demand that certain things be covered, like maternity care and pediatric dental coverage (even if you are 75 years old), then you are directly affecting the price! For f*cks sake man….pull off you blue tinted glasses and try to do what is best for your country, not your party!

          • Oldfart

I see. Allowing junk health insurance is a good thing for my country, so I should support it rather than requiring health insurance companies to meet minimum standards. I’m very glad I don’t think like you.

          • FaithWill

Okay, so changing healthcare coverage for the 80% that had it (and were not ending up in the ER, I know how you liberals hate that), are being punished (insurance costs doubling and tripling) to suit the maybe 20% who weren’t? What kind of math is that? Yes, it is a good thing that most people do not think like you.

          • Oldfart

No, oh ignorant one. The 85% of Americans who have employer-based health insurance, such as myself, will not see ANY changes except the normal yearly changes they have been seeing all along. As for seeing some increases that support the 15% that have NO health insurance? I think my premium went up maybe $10/mo for 2014. I’ll pay that so people who don’t have insurance can have insurance and people who were refused insurance can have insurance. It’s more cost effective than paying them to visit the ER on my tab. And, I’ll be the first to admit, that I’m not a Christian so I am free to be concerned about the health of my fellow Americans.

          • FaithWill

That is ridiculous. High risk pools were already available to those who have pre-existing conditions. Free clinics are all over my city for those who cannot afford to pay, very good ones-which are now going away because of the ACA. My premiums have gone up specifically BECAUSE of the ACA. Our insurance rep was pretty clear about that. And to top it off, my family gets to be punished next year because we actually have a decent plan. The lovely “cadillac tax”. Nice. And I am not sure why being a christian would prevent someone to care about others. Watch out, your prejudice is showing!

          • Oldfart

Yes, I’ve read about those high risk pools. Appropriately priced for high income people. Of course, poor and middle class people could not afford those premiums and the deductibles. But, then, poor people who can’t afford those things have no right to live or get health care, right? And, because “free clinics” are all over YOUR city, they must be everywhere, right? Except I have never seen one in the city where I live at all. There are some sliding scale clinics but, you know what? They don’t treat serious diseases and conditions. They WILL refer you to a very expensive specialist, however, whose first question will not be “How do you feel” or “Where does it hurt” but will be “What insurance do you have.”
Your insurance rep was pretty clear about that, eh? And, of course, he/she is a reliable character who offers unbiased representations of the truth.
As for Christians, I have spent quite a while going through the Repthuglian arguments against the ACA and other arguments against helping the poor. As a group these people characterize themself as good Christians. In fact, some of them delude themselves into believing that the USA is a christian nation despite the fact that christianity is not mentioned at all in either the DOI or the Constitution. Obviously, the only conclusion I can come to after reading all this is that Christians do not believe in helping the poor, the disabled, the starving, the hungry, the homeless. At least Repthuglian christians don’t.

          • FaithWill

No, those clinics treat the conditions that lead to more serious diseases. I thought that was the whole reason the poor shouldn’t get their healthcare from ERs? Circular reasoning gets you dizzy, doesn’t it? And as far as my insurance rep, you seem to have cornered the market on who is trustworthy and who isn’t. I guess I should have asked you first before attending that big official insurance meeting.

And I guess you have also cornered the market on kindness. How lucky you must be.

“Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”-Mark Twain

          • Oldfart

What circular reasoning? Just how many of those free clinics have you been treated in? There was a gap in time between me having my VA medical care and my wife having no medical insurance where we went to one of those free clinics for her. They offered a number of “services” but, in the short time we were going there, they lost most of their doctors. Free clinics are unreliable and tend to disappear depending on the funding they get.

And, I just pointed out to you something you should have recognized yourself – a representative of the health insurance industry is only going to represent the health insurance industry and is hardly an unbiased observer. That is only common sense whether you are talking about health insurance, car insurance or buying a new TV. A salesman is a salesman and his product is always the best and if the price goes up, it is always someone else’s fault.
As for the market on kindness, I could probably link hundreds of quotes of Repthuglian representatives and politicians here about how important it is not to feed the hungry or care for the homeless or pass a bill to support jobs for vets. And I could list hundreds of more quotes from so-called values people on the same subject. They even found quotes from the Bible supporting their hatred of the poor, the “others.” So, I didn’t corner the market on kindness – Repthuglians made their own market.

You need to pay attention to the meaning of your own signature.

You obviously know NOTHING about “Christians” except for the self-proclaiming ‘Christians’ who use their proposed ‘religion’ as an entryway into politics (as Obama did). True Christians, including most, if not all, churches are heavily invested in community projects helping the poor and disadvantaged. Our own church has several organizations in which we participate, along with projects to help specific individuals who need assistance. And we don’t ask them about their religion (or lack thereof) before giving assistance. You should also take notice that the majority of hospitals in the US are religious-founded, by the Christian and the Jewish faiths. Since you are so obviously obsessed with condemning Christianity, just remember that this country was founded by highly religious people, who fought long and hard to make a country where religion is practiced openly and freedom rings from the highest church towers. If that freedom is taken away, then this country is doomed (if it isn’t already doomed under this corrupt administration).

          • John Galvan

Wait till the Employer Mandate kicks in. There is a reason that NOBama has delayed it for one year without Congressional approval. He knows that once that mandate kicks in there will be millions more losing coverage. I have employer provided coverage right now. And, I fear when the mandate kicks in and costs dramatically increase, my employer will not be able to absorb the costs. We will get dumped and have to seek coverage elsewhere. No one is secure.

          • ConnieJ

Employer based? My son’s “employer-based” premiums just doubled; and my daughter’s “employer-based” premiums just increased 30% and her deductible increased to $3000. How’s that for the promised “no change”?

          • John Galvan

Don’t you love it when Obama goes on the TV and proclaims, “well, you didn’t need your old policies because the are Junk insurance anyway. So, I did you a favor.” The point is, we have no choice in accepting coverage that we don’t need (very paternalistic of our government – smacks of communism). You have to pay more to cover all those who don’t work. I have no problem providing assistance to those who truly can’t support themselves such as children, the physically disabled, and the poor elderly. But, to force me to take coverage that I don’t need in order for the government to have an excuse to take more of my money? Sorry. Further, I have not seen anything that would lead me to believe that the new policies are so much better than the old policies. Except for mandated coverage that is un-necessary for many, the premiums are HIGHER, the co-pays are HIGHER, and the deductibles are HIGHER. Even with a subsidy, how can someone too poor to afford a policy without a subsidy pay those deductibles and co-pays? Until you can put someone’s prior policy next to the new policies and compare, you can’t call Obamacare better and prior policies junk. Had the Congress (both houses) been allowed to review the NON- ACA and have insurance industry experts comment on the NON-ACA, then we may have avoided the problems we are seeing and the bigger problems we will see. But, the Democrats wouldn’t allow review, much less discussion on the NON-ACA. Remember? “You must pass it to see what’s in it?” Imagine buying a car sight unseen, paying the total costs of a new car without being allowed to test drive it, much less see it, and then getting a stuck with a lemon that barely runs? . The Lemon Laws would allow us to return that lemon (Non-ACA) for our money back or something different…

          • ConnieJ

He’s been drinking too much of the left-wing kool-aid. (Yes, I meant to spell it that way.)

          • Anthony Burkes

You’re an IDOT. OBAMACARE absolutely DOES regulate the insurance companies and forces them to add things to their policies that no one wants. TROLL. LibTARD BASTARD!!!

          • Mirnaminkoff

The irony of calling someone an “IDOT” and the ever classy “libtard.” You can’t even spell “IDIOT” correctly. Your post indicates your intellectual capacity is near the subatomic level. You couldn’t even be bothered to verify the correct spelling of words, much like you can’t be bothered to verify or understand actual facts and policy – you just lap up the mindless right wing propaganda as reality.

          • Justsomeguy151

And yr own dumbass is stupid enough to proudly champion the traitorous Libtard cause, even tho they’ve destroyed America.

          • Anthony Burkes

I think you should take some time and try to understand the Law and what it is Destroying in this Country instead of lapping up the Fool-Aid and believing what the Liar-In-Chief is spewing. He has LIED repeatedly and yet, in true liberal Stupidity, you still believe in this murdering scum!!! It just goes to show that you CAN fool some of the people ALL of the time.

          • Linda Bartram

guess we found another obama kiss ass anthony

          • sonjamay

Old Fart. ACA regulates every thing. They tell the insurance companies what they have to do & have so many regulations they have to double . triple & more the rates.

          • John Galvan

If I were in Construction and the government ordered me to build a tornado shelter into every home, that Mandate would cause me to raise my prices. Those may be good to have in the tornado ally, but not really needed in most areas. The ACA does not regulate prices directly, but by mandating unnecessary coverage, it does affect price. Government regulation always affects prices of goods and services. Ever take a business course or economics course in college?

          • Oldfart

I can only point out that had you been required to build a tornado shelter in every home in Joliet, many lives would have been saved. Even though many people in Joliet would not have had to use those shelters.
I have yet to see the exact cost increase due to required health insurance that doesn’t apply to everyone. For instance, our health insurance policy at work has always included insurance for obstetrics even though my wife and I are way past childbearing age. If there is a cost increase for that, it is tiny and that benefit has been part of that package for decades.

          • Panors77

The ACA obliterates “the market”……get a clue. It’s designed to fail so when the insurance companies are all busted we have no choice but to go single payer which is what your party wants.

          • Oldfart

I absolutely agree that I would have preferred single payer. But the ACA will be very successful in the long run. For every fake horror story Faux Noise comes up with, there are a hundred success stories.

          • Chris Hunter

You literally have no idea what you are talking about…And I’m not being an ass.

          • Justsomeguy151

You thought??? That’ll be the day, Libtard hypocrite!!

          • Andrew Ritter

You do, of course, realize that all health insurance coverage has to cover sex change operations. The Buffalo, NY Teachers’ coverage includes breast and penis augmentation and is now considered one of those “premium plans” that has to pay a 40% penalty. Too bad.

          • John Galvan

Craziness isn’t it Andrew? All of these “necessary mandates” have increased everyone’s expense. And, our liberal friends can’t seem to grasp that someone has to pay the increased expense. You can’t get a better policy that Obama deams is necessary or you pay a cadillac penalty. If you have a policy that doesn’t have one of the mandates, your policy gets cancelled. The government knows what is best for us, huh??

          • Linda Bartram

off course they say obamas wife is a he

          • Rina VanKleef

You are an unashamed liar. I hope that all your lies catch up with you. You should just move. All health insurance covers sex changes? Where – no really, what phu cken planet did you get that little tidbit from? Wow. I knew there were stupid people in this country but you . . . worse than stupid . . . worse than . . . I don’t know – just indescribably bereft of any gray matter.

          • Andrew Ritter

Sorry. I looked it up. I also wanted to see if there was coverage for breast and penis enlargements. There wasn’t. But part of the ACA is that policies must cover sex change operations. Do the work yourself instead of just spouting off at people. Policies that do not cover sex changes have to be canceled and new ones issued.

          • Linda Bartram

wait for the marriage tax $2,500 tto $10.000

          • Rina VanKleef

You are such a liar as are several people on this post. You guys wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you upside your empty sheeple head. I get disgusted with my fellow americans quite a bit these days. You thrive on hate, discontent and lies because you are miserable in your own little lives and are too lazy to find out the truth. YOU deserve what you get. Kind of like all the military people who voted for the GOP. Bet they’re loving those pension plan and salary cuts that the GOP put in the budget! They deserve it.

          • Casrekoli

You have got to be kidding me. You think that was the GOP’s handywork? Those on the left have done a very poor job of hiding their contempt for those that serve. I live near Ft. Bragg and i work in the firearms industry so I know many stationed there and they all know who supports them and who doesn’t. You aren’t on their list and neither is Obumbler.

          • Oldfart

Hmmm……right now the deficit is falling. How do you account for that? You DID know about that, right? You don’t listen to Faux Noise all the time, do you?

          • Robert Parrott

            Wrong Oldfart:
            http://www.usgovernmentspending.com/federal_deficit_chart.html

“Although the federal deficit is the amount each year by which federal outlays in the federal budget
exceed federal receipts, the gross federal debt increases each year by substantially more than the amount
of the deficit each year. **That is because a substantial amount of federal borrowing is not counted in the budget**.”

More info here to explain the falling deficit:

            http://american.com/archive/2011/july/the-government2019s-four-decade-financial-experiment

Don’t believe what the government tells you oldfart… the inflation numbers are cooked by the government to keep you from getting more in SS.. they have a reason to cook the books and you oldfarts should wake up!

          • Oldfart

I believe those are partisan sites with a conspiracy theory axe to grind. I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. Not about Bush and not about Obama.

          • Casrekoli

            Partisan?
            Congressional Budget Office Analysis
Long Term Outlook for Federal Budget issued in 2013

            How is that partisan?

          • jfmoris

falling compared to Obama’s previous record, right?

          • Dita Mancini

The deficit is falling? You do know we owe more money than ever in our history due to Obama and his policies? He has also put out more executive orders than any other President every. He has circumvented the constitution on many occasions. Or do you have your head shoved so far up Obama’s butt you can’t see the truth?

          • Peter Gibson

The deficit is falling right now due mostly to the sequester, in SPITE of Obama’s policies. That said, way to take credit, in typical Obama fashion.

What a bunch of morally reprehensible rhetoric you spew. Any deficit spending can decrease when you’re amassing unprecedented debt to do so, duh. Seriously? And 85 Billion per month in magic money doesn’t hurt either.

You know what? I’ve read your post contributions here, and it’s obvious you’re nothing more than a DNC troll. Likely paid to be this oblivious and parrot the usual low brow hyperbole in place of facts. You lot make me (and most of America) sick.

I’d go a step farther with this subversive nonsense you seem to fully endorse. You people are complicit in the traitors trying to bankrupt and destroy this nation. Once your progressive minions are voted out of office in 2014 and 2016, we should all enact a task force for the specific purpose of revisiting these sites and cataloging those people (like you) who were complicit in this sheer level of “fundamental transformation”.

Once we suss out you sympathizers, you should be offered a nice big boat for your communal love fests, a Captain hat for Obama with a nice orange jump suit for Hillary as his fist mate, some stimulus money, and a deportation pink slip. You lot aren’t concerned with individual freedom, so why should we give a crap about yours anymore, when all you’re doing is dividing and destroying out of blind party loyalty “Democrat first, America second” nonsense.

This country suffers as long as you lot are still here pimping these misinformation campaigns left and right. Go away. All of you. Secede. Leave and construct the Utopia of your choice, Jim Jones style, somewhere else. I’m sure you’ll find trading partners and allies in Russia, China, and/or the middle east. Just shove the hell off. All of you.

          • Submarine Vet

            Amen brother!

          • Oldfart

So, you are going to “suss out you sympathizers” and deport us? And you say WE aren’t concerned with individual freedoms? You hypocritical piece of shit. Move to Somalia. Take your family with you. We don’t need any more inbred assholes here.

          • Mark Wester

WHAT DEFICIT YOU IDIOT????…..YOU ARE BLIND…AND CERTAINLY STUPID…

          • spinelli34523

omg! what dimension do you live in dude? the federal deficit is at an all time high. shut up already! you live in a dreamworld

          • Oldfart

For you and all the morons that are screaming that the deficit is at an all time high. Please go and check out the difference between the DEFICIT and the NATIONAL DEBT. You fucking Faux Noise trained idiots.

          • sonjamay

Old Fart. You need to get a few facts. Not just listen to what the liberals want you to hear. You make yourself sound really stupid.

          • Denver Bob

            Hey – So is unemployment…. OldFart….

          • Gregg Ball

You MORON you. The deficit just went over 17 trillion. You fucking idiot! Shut up because you don’t have a clue as to what you are talking about.

          • Oldfart

YOU fucking idiot. The National DEBT just went over 17 trillion! Get a life!

          • Panors77

No it isn’t….it’s still sitting at over $17trillion dollars, almost DOUBLE what it was when Bush left office.

          • Chris Hunter

if you believe the deficit is falling you are a special kind of retarded.

          • Oldfart

And, if you are not aware that the deficit has been falling, you are a special kind of Faux Noise ignoranus.

          • Justsomeguy151

You are a perfect example of the useful idiot Stalin talked about. So fucking stupid that he worships his own nations’ murderers and cheers them as they do it. Make everyone around you happy and just kill yrself.

          • Oldfart

And you are just some moron that runs around calling people names and providing no useful information.

          • Justsomeguy151

wrong, dumbass Libtard liar. Even if you saw more info confirming yr Kenyan god is indeed a fraud, you’d just ignore it anyway, simply because yr god has never lied. Just ask the head Libtard kissass, Chris Matthews.

          • Casrekoli

Who gives a hoot if the deficit is falling or not? The DEBT, at 17 TRILLION, is growing at record speeds!!! You do realize, don’t you, that is money this country will never be able to pay back? If the government stole every penny from those ‘nasty rich people’ it wouldn’t even make a tiny dent in what we owe.
And your supposed success stories? Yeah, I don’t think adding all these people to Medicaid could be called a success. I think you’ll find the the young people in this country are realizing they don’t want to be the ones raped anymore than the rich do.
And do you really think that this website just happened to not work? The government can afford to pay the most brilliant minds to set this up. Those brilliant minds set this up EXACTLY like they wanted it to run.
Go ahead and blame Fox News. Blame Bush. Blame anyone that makes you feel better but the FACT is, this country is in the shape it’s in because of Obumblers policies, PERIOD!!!!

          • Andy

Oldfart, what planet do you live on, you really need to check your facts before you post something. The deficit did fall after sequestration that was only because of sequestration but after the government shutdown they had a free ticket to spend and they did just that over 300 billion in just one day. Now our debt is 17.224 Trillion. I really don’t think you could buy a clue.

          • Oldfart

Uh. See links I have posted on this article. I live on Earth and I DON’T listen to Faux Noise. Try it sometime. You will find your mind expanding. You won’t like it at first. It will be painful but you will be freed in the end.

          • Justsomeguy151

OMG you are a F@#KING RETARD!!! How the F@#k would the deficit fall when the Kenyan Fraud-in-Chief has had 5 straight YEARS of TRILLION $ deficits???? Please show us the math for that, idiot!!

          • Oldfart

            Why certainly:

            http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/10/19/1248898/-Tea-Party-is-completely-wrong-about-shrinking-federal-deficits
And those figures do not come from Dailykos – they come from the CBO. Note that the deficit started its reduction slide BEFORE the sequestration. That is, if any of you can remember when the sequestration started.

          • Justsomeguy151

Yr so fucking stupid!!! How the fuck can a business spend more money than they take in and owe less, dumbass??? Now go fellate yr Obumma blow up doll, POS!!

          • FaithWill

How much are you being paid to spew this crap? More power to ya, at least you are keeping a job in this economy.

          • Oldfart

How much are YOU being paid to continue to be an ignorant uninformed American who, unfortunately, will probably breed and vote.

          • FaithWill

Actually, I read everything–even your favorite, HuffPost, and I am VERY informed. Which is why I can spot your BS from a mile away. I have stopped breeding (see, I don’t need that maternity care after all), but I still vote! I am sure you are a perfectly nice little troll, but perhaps we can keep this to the facts?

          • Oldfart

Really? If you are so well informed, you will find it easy to criticize my posts by specifically pointing out where I have gone wrong and not just call me names like these other morons. I’ll be waiting for your answer.

          • Panors77

Make that his first FOUR years.

          • RVNMike

I see you didn’t get the intelligent gene. Only a foolish old liberal would be dumb enough to put up a post like yours.

          • Leonard Suschena

Constitutional lesson #1, Presidents do not have the power to declare war. Only the Congress has that power.
Constitutional Lesson #2, All spending originates in the House of Representatives, and may be voted on by the Senate. The President has veto authority only.
The wars were started by the Congress and funded by the Congress. Who, by the way happened to be Democrats at the time.

          • Oldfart

Really. When do you think the fraudulent Iraq war started? And just where in the budget was the funding for the Iraq or Afghanistan wars placed? Eh?

          • Leonard Suschena

I refer you to my previous post, relating to Constitutional Lessons #1 and #2. The Congress!

          • Gary Doze

you forget democracks were all for it when we went over there. and if we had gone sooner we would have found the wmd that they had time to hide kind of like obumer is doing now so they can go ahead with their bomb making.

          • vickie

the democrats,, they had the house and senate

          • Submarine Vet

“Fraudulent Iraq war” Shit man. WMD were all over Iraq. They were moved to Syria. You don’t have a leg to stand on and are doing an excellent job of making yourself look like a complete misinformed brainwashed typical liberal douchebag. Congrats asshole!

          • vickie

you did your homework …………….thanks leonard, these stupid people who think obumass is god don’t have a brain to research themselves and lack acceptness of the truth because they can’t face the truth that they voted for all this

          • Leonard Suschena

Thanks Vickie, but back in the day, there were classes in schools called “Civics” and “Government” taught in Jr high and high schools, actually there were classes in earlier grades too. I think I read the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights as early as 4th grade. However, I have to read it several more times recently (Tend to forget over 50 years ya know). However, these classes have been dropped from most schools. Well, except everyone knows the 1st Amendment, (i.e., I can say and do any damn thing I want to and who cares about your rights, mine opinion is the only important one.) Most people people don’t know that there are 3 parts to the 1st Amendment, Religion, Speech and Press. They mostly ignore the first and third parts.

          • Dave Rotthoff

Gotta add freedom to petition for the redress og greviances and freedom to peaceably assemble…..this from one who used to teach U.S. Government classes in high school./

          • vickie

I lived in ca. and everyone had to take a course in government before they could get threw high school …that was after years of getting it in some parts threw grades 4 thru 11………….which did not count for 12th grade mandatory gov.

          • chazears

Really? You wanna go there? Democrat congress fought Bush who attempted to thwart the financial collapse by tightening up home loans… but NOOOO, Democrats would have nothing of it, forcing families to document their income… “how absurd”?

          • Oldfart

Bush did nothing but stare like a deer caught in the headlights. I remember that look on his face.

          • Staind

            hey you smell

          • sonjamay

Oldfart, You are so uninformed & just stupid.

          • me me

Here we go……………… Nothing meaningful to bring to the table, so lets bring out GWB………. Pathetic liberals………..

          • Oldfart

Here we go…..Repthuglies denying that Bush and voodoo economics had anything to do with the recession….pathetic regressives.

          • Gary Doze

old fart most people get wiser with age so you need a different name!!!!!!

          • ScreamingEagle02-04

That’s why his name is “OLD FART” Sort of like Limburger Cheese… The older it gets even blind people can smell the shit a mile away!!!

          • Back2God2010

Bush never supported our enemies like Obama does and we have spent more on Obama wars, drones and his self made wars he tried to start in Syria without the Congress! He has done more to demoralize, sabotage and destroy our Republic than any enemy or especially any other president who has graced our White House! He is the worst excuse for a president this country has ever known! We need to impeach him now before he finishes us off! OF you’d be better of to change sides and stop bashing Bush and wake up to what’s happening NOW! This is 2013 going on 2014! Real Americans do not want communism or the Unaffordable Care Act or anything Obama has done! He is a traitor and has done more to divide people and destroy our Constitution than we could have ever imagined! We need to impeach him!! He is not even an American, He is Kenyan born and Muslim and he hates America! At least Bush loves America!

          • franel

get your facts straight….1) the recession started with Fannie and Freddie giving out loans to people they knew could not afford to pay them back (Dodd/Frank), 2) the demorats had the majority in both the House and the Senate in the last 2 yrs of Bush’s term. Up till that point, the country did not have the unemployment and the economy it has had in the last 5 years, and 3) Oldfart must have Alzheimer’s Disease because he can’t possibly be that stupid

          • Panors77

Here we go………commie democraps passing bills choking business in this country causing them to move overseas. Democraps forcing banks to loan to unqualified borrowers thus causing the housing bubble to break. Commie democraps “spend spend spend” into oblivion in their screed to “spread the wealth around”. Stalin would be proud of you.

          • Steve Stratton

Uncontrolled government spending and regulations that are shutting down american businesses are the problem. Now we have Obamacare forcing more people unto government handouts!

          • Oldfart

What government handouts? Oh, you mean subsidies for poor people who never had health insurance or couldn’t get health insurance. Yeah. As opposed to the Repthuglian plan of letting them die quickly.

          • Gary Doze

no just the illegals who use ever freebe there is so the people who worked get nothing stupid old fart

LOL Oldfart! You’re speaking the mantras of your party line, filled with hate and no actual knowledge to what Republicans believe. Somebody has to pay. Not against helping those in need, a hand up is fine..its continual hand outs at the cost of those of us who are trying to support our families and cant because we are taxed/regulated to death. You are willing to use Government and the threat of force to do it. You believe your party is giving and loving and all that but your not. Taking what others have worked for to give it to someone who WONT is not loving and kind. Its thievery, its socialism, plain and simple. Republicans arent the greedy ones..they just want to keep what they work for and give where they want. They dont want you or any one else in our business. Leave us alone!! want something? work for it! The rest of us do. and for those who cant ( not wont) we help, There is already welfare for those who need it. SSI, SS and all that. but the cow is done dried up! ACA is NOT about health care, or reform. Its about taxing its people, killing off those that are less desirable, so they will have those who worship Government under their control. Doc.s will have no say in what they can do, they will be Told what to do. To old? to young? bad health? Well you can just die then. Time is going to unveil the truth on these matters. We have already drank the poison, hopefully we get the cure before its to late. And by the way, I am NOT a republican, I believe in Liberty and Freedom for all men.

          • Peter Gibson

He’s just the typical “Good German”. If this were 1930 he’d be on the streets with a club and a brown shirt. These types shouldn’t even be engaged, and I’m sorry I bothered now.

No doubt he’s a paid troll. Otherwise he’s fully indoctrinated and useless as a member of society. That level of intellect will always end up dependent on the hand it bites.

          • vickie

if you had read obumacare you would know they have death panels……if your care costs too much the bye bye………….also a panel took to the streets and you obuma smartasses signed for all seniors to be put to sleep………….so now what oldfart dem

          • Back2God2010

Oh no, you mean the millions of people who lost their health care and the death panels that decide who gets help and who doesn’t, and then all the illegals who get free care while the ones who pay get theirs ripped off!? You are just like your idol Obama, everything is mixed upside down and backwards! All people were better off including those who don’t have insurance before Obama! Now the whole country is or will be needing a handout except those exempted or the rich,,,so I hope you are either one of the very rich or the very poor because the rest of us are being burned by Obama and all his policies!

          • spinelli34523

subsidies my ass. they’re handouts. with my money. over 50 percent of these people on welfare are lifers. never had a job other than to spit out kids or make them and claim them. all colors too. and you’re one of them, to be sure.

          • Peter Gibson

Jeez man you are so full of crap. It’s just extraordinarily depraved of you to continue with these wantonly dishonest talking points. Research the subject matter you are here defending and grow some intellectual honesty.

A large percentage of the American poor are functionally equivalent to the middle class in many other nations.

Of our poor; upwards of 50% have more than one TV, most have internet access, 70%+ have automobiles, over 60% have a land line AND a mobile phone, and almost 84% have the same operating food budget allotted (VIA CBT deposits) that the middle class pay in frikin Canada. All of this, considering their utilities are provided, and in most cases housing subsidies as well.

Our welfare system was meant to be a safety NET, not a safety HAMMOCK, complete with umbrella drinks.

          • janhalt

@Oldfart, Name calling is a sign that you have lost the argument.

          • Oldfart

Really? Did you see Richard Engler’s comment below? Does that mean you ALL have lost the argument?

          • sonjamay

Oldfart. You are just plain stupid & you can’t fix stupid.

          • vickie

BULLSHIT, dems (Obama included) voted to let people who could not afford buying houses they could not afford…it was obuma who forced fanny mae and other banks to fund them knowing default would happen, do some home work !!!

          • Vincent K Brooks

Hey Oldfart, Bush didn’t pass this socialist boondoggle, the theif in chief OBOZO did. That “community organizer” just screwed me out of $13000 a year. Thanks you democrapic a$$hole and all of your cronies too. DITCH THE DEMOS in 2014. I am not a republican, but when a party screws me out of my insurance causes me to support paying for others and wants to give a free ticket to ILLEGAL ALIENS, I tend to lose respect, especially when they are a person who has NEVER held a job, never served his country, and throws respect atthe scum bags that have been attacking Americans and our way of life for decades. You bunch of jerks want my support and the support of working people, try treating us with the respect we deserve and send the illegals back and stop bowing to the governments using religion as an excuse to attack us.

          • vickie

they only love themselves and their god obumass

          • http://standingforhim.wordpress.com/ Jason Lovelace

Hi, Oldfart, I believe that our economic woes began when the Democrats took control of both houses of congress back in `07. Wasn’t it your friend Representative Barney Frank who lectured Americans how solvent and financially sound Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were back then? And what happened a scant year later? How long have you, Oldfart, been blaming Bush for the economy, which was rip-roaring right up to January, 2007? Call it voo-doo all you wish, but the Democrats’ pla was merely doo: the kind of doo that sticks to your boot after the neighbor’s dog dumps in your yard and you happen to step in it. Yep, the Democrats’ economic policies are still with us, and what has it gotten us? 7+% unemployment, more than double the price for a gallon of gas at the pumps, more people on welfare, a much muuuuuuch higher deficit….and you call PRESIDENT Bush’s policies “voo-doo”? Please! Keep your “hope n’ change” because all we Americans are gettin’ is change, and even Mr. Obama’s taking that….

          • Panors77

Try over 10% unemployment. Much of this so called “7%” doesn’t take into account those who gave up job seeking and who’s unemployment benefits ran out.

          • KWSmith

You are aware that Bush had nothing to do with Obamacare no matter how badly you wish you could blame him?

          • v casler

You know what cracks me up?Is old fart names him self fart. Fart means annoying foolish person!!! LMAO! That he is! FOOL!!!

          • Robert Parrott

Wrong old fart! The Senate and congress were taken over by the dumbocrats 2 years before Bush’s last term ended. The democrats were in control of the banking and housing committees for 2 years before Oblamer took over. FYI those are the 2 segments of the economy that crashed… funny coincidence isn’t it?

          • Gary Doze

you are one of the dumbacrats who don’t remember it was the dumbacrats who owned the congress when the country started under and obumber is trying his best to finish it.

          • pdigaudio

            ^^^^^^ Horse hockey.

          • tired

You sound like hobummer! Guess which side of the fence you are on?????

          • RaconsMom

Oldfart, how you wrote your post says a lot about your intelligence. To make a point, proper English is a plus!

          • Brenda Stines Mills

yeah…check out Hillary’s vote on the war….she denied voting yes, but she did……then her excuse was she didn’t understand all of the legal wording….she’s a lawyer…..apparently not a good one……

          • Peter Gibson

Get a grip. 5 years of this steaming pile and you’re still blaming Bush. You should be bloody well ashamed of yourself for treating your party more important than your country.

I voted for and believed in Obama once, but I wasn’t stupid enough to do so twice You obviously were.

Here’s your pathetic loyalty, all spelled out by your more pathetic Rock Star In Chief. Notice how similar to Bush this treasonous progressive puppet has been.

            1) Carried out military interventionism in Libya without Congressional approval

            2) Gave a no-bid contract to Halliburton – just like Bush did

            3) Has an administration full of lobbyists, after promising he wouldn’t have any

            4) Has close ties to Wall St., but pretends to support Occupy Wall St.

            5) Broke his promise to close Guantanamo Bay

            6) Supported the $700 billion TARP corporate-welfare bailout just like Bush

            7) Waged the biggest war against medical marijuana of any president, which was the opposite of what he had promised

            8) Nominated a six-time tax cheater to head the government agency that enforces the tax laws

            9) Gave tax dollars to AIG executives, then pretended to be outraged about it

            10) Expanded Bush’s unconstitutional government faith based programs

            11) Supported, extended, and augmented Bush’s unconstitutional Patriot Act

            12) Increased the national debt more in one term than Bush did in two terms.

            13) Agrees with Bush’s support of unconstitutional, indefinite detention of U.S. citizens without filing any charges

            14) Agrees with Bush’s support of unconstitutional, warrantless wiretapping

            15) Avoided prosecution of Wall. St criminals

            16) Had four U.S. citizens killed without judicial process

            17) Ordered a private company to fire 1,000 employees

            18) Illegally put thousands of guns into hands of criminals

            19) Lied about putting health care negotiations on C-SPAN

            20) Lied about letting people keep their health insurance, 26+ TIMES.

            21) Lied about the costs of ObamaCare, 18 times.

            22) Gave tax dollars to campaign contributors and lobbyists, and falsely claimed the money was for “green energy”

            23) Traded away 2 of our most important strategic allies in the war against Islamism for a “headline only” political ploy that risks the power balance inside the Middle East.

Oh, and how about our wonderful economic “recovery”, for more puerile idol worship hangover fun:

Wall Street sure is winning, huh. AGAIN. Wasn’t Wall Street the very LAST part of our economy that NEEDED to be fixed and THE reason for our now nonsensical debt accumulation bailouts? Oh, sorry, WALL STREET IS EVIL only when a Republican is in charge.

Propping up Wall Street by printing 85 Billion dollars a month in “magic” money via quantitative easing principles – principles which have failed EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY stupid enough to employ them. Yeah, your man Obama? He’s been SO MUCH better than Bush.

            Meanwhile,

The Federal debt in 2009 was $10.6 trillion, today it’s $17.1 trillion or a +61% increase.

The debt per person in 2009 was 34,700, today it is 53,855, which is +$19,124.00.

Food stamp recipients in 2009 were 32 million, and today there are 47.7 million, a net increase of +49%.

Americans in poverty as of 2009? 29.8 million. Today? 49.1 million. An added 19.3 million people below our poverty line.

How about the misery index? Misery index in 2009 was at 7.8, and today it’s exactly 8.7, a net increase of +11.5%.

Thank God the rich keep getting richer though, and thank God you can still rationalize Bush as the scape-goat for this inept and morally bankrupt clown, huh.

You people need a reality check. Bush was a sock puppet, sure, but Obama is a sock puppet’s understudy.

            Wake the he!! up.

          • Dita Mancini

Thank you Peter for putting all the facts in one neat package like that.

          • Larry Swingholm

            But he’s a really nice guy !

          • Dita Mancini

Oldfart, We are well into Obama’s 2nd term. It’s time for Obama to put on his big boy pants and take the blame for the mess he created. He can’t get out of office soon enough for me.

          • Kim Parigoris

The subject here is OBAMACARE..Can’t blame that one on Bush- OBAMA owns this and he owns this whole Presidency while he is off doing selfies at the Mandela memorial. This administration is one big frat party.. fun and games while Americans suffer..

          • Larry Swingholm

Hey Oldfart, you have selective memory. If meaningless wars are your thing go back a little farther to Kennedy and Johnson ramping up the war in VietNam and helping 50,000 + young people to their end. Just think how much that cost the US !

          • Mark Wester

you can take your stupid 4000 families….as i will raise you 400,000 families…you IDIOT!!!!!

          • Kevin Brown

You need to get out of hibernation more! Whatever “harm” Bush did, your bluegum in office has beaten that 10 fold! Beat it ya Troll!

          • Obummasucks

Another POS Libtard that cannot blame his Messiah for anything. You might as well Blame Lincoln or Washinton too, you fucking idiot!

          • jillz

Oldfart must be senile…… Put your spectacles on and see what is happening. Ovomit is a disgrace. Step out of the freebie line long enough to touch reality!

          • Tammy Finn Petrick

You my friend need to wake up and learn who is for and who is against this country.

          • sonjamay

Old Fart you need to educate yourself & stop just listening to propaganda.

          • Laurie Hurst

Hey Oldfart, If you really knew what you were talking about you’d realize that the DemocRats that were in power during the last years of the Bush Admin. were the ones that started our countries rapid downward spiral! And while we weren’t looking it was Hillary, Pelosi and the other socialist DemocRats that pushed through the very bill that enabled Obama to run for President while hiding all of his birth and vital information. So maybe you better do YOUR homework before you criticize others!

          • Robin Eckert

I’m with u Oldfart….Obama may be inexperienced but he wants what’s best for this country….It will take more than 8 years to fix what the last president did. For some reason, Republicans are so conservative they will not agree with anything a Democratic president says or does….perhaps if they watched another news channel besides FOX they would get a whole picture. I vote…but I don’t vote party lines…I vote what I think is right.

          • Casrekoli

So you think bankrupting the country is what’s best for it? That is what he wants ya know? No wonder we’re in such a downward spiral…..

          • James Spearman

Old Fart, I can smell you. For your information, just as soon as we can get that muslim out of our White House there will be buses line up in each state to carry the likes of you to Mexico. Don’t miss it.

          • Oldfart

Yes. I can smell you too. You shit your pants when you found out that Repthuglies will never again hold the White House and that the next occupant of the White House just might be Madam President. BTW, when you come to take me to Mexico, come in person. I’ll be ready.

          • Casrekoli

At least a majority voted with the Constitution in mind instead of the minority that voted with party in mind.
Just so you know, if elections were held today, there would very likely be NO Democrats elected.
That being said, the best course of action is to push for ALL of obumblercare to be implimented NOW, not after the ’14 elections. They will of course move mountains to have it all put off until after the election because if that happened, all the ‘D’s’ would disappear!

          • PSALM37

Come on O.F., though bush was / still is Satan’s minion, his exploit’s pale in comparison to “o”-barry, he is bush on steroids.
bush was at least sneaky about his anti-Christ / Anti-constitutional deviance’s, o-barry is most openly openly evil.

          • Justsomeguy151

Really yrself? How can you not see that Obumma and Bush jr might as well be the same criminal??? Virtually nothing is different about them.

          • Oldfart

You got a point there. Particularly when it comes to privacy rights. Obama is touting the Bush line and using every defense that Bush used to protect the CIA, NSA and etc. The only difference is that Obama is not torturing people.

          • Justsomeguy151

Then why do you continue to worship a lying Kenyan usurper fraud???? And WTF do you think yr doing in Guantanamo, teaching them to knit, you idiot!

          • Rob Zombie

I can think of 4000+ times TEN that wish Obozo and HIS lies never happened!

        • janhalt

@Gary Doze, Hillary is Obama in a pant-suit.

          • Gary Doze

            yep

          • sonjamay

Hillary likes the girls& Obama like he boys

          • bdgshv

She is worse than ovomit would ever be.

        • Brenda Stines Mills

hillary has Benghazi blood on her hands….not to mention a lot more that no one speaks of….

          • Linda Bartram

            they both have rhe blood

        • Greg sees

That is the very attitude that has brought the American people to their knees. They characteristically cry every 4-8 years that “anything would be better.” Yet voting the lesser of two evils is tantamount to insanity. How about being the change. Getting informed, specifically, that the two party duopoly is not the answer. Bush paved the way for Obama, and this will continue ad nauseam from left to right until we rid ourselves of selfishness.

        • Justsomeguy151

Wrong. Bush jr is no better than Obumma. He was Obumma before Obumma was Obumma. BOTH parties have screwed We the people.

          • Gary Doze

Agree but I feel less screwed with reps than dems

          • Justsomeguy151

I am a conservative/independent but there are no real conservatives anymore. There are many neo-cons tho who think empire building and fighting multiple endless wars is normal. They also think our govt spying on its people is normal. America is dying if not dead already. The dollar is about to crash.

      • Richard Engler

I bet you are an ovomit dicksucker too, you ignorant blind asshole

        • Oldfart

And I’ll bet you’re just waiting to shove an ultrasound probe up your ass to show women that getting raped isn’t so bad.

          • id2nv2nj2ca

Have you always been a complete f’ing lowlife moron, or did it happen in your golden years, Oldfart?

          • Casrekoli

What are you talking about? The left if ADAMANT about allowing women to be raped. You are completely against women defending themselves.

      • CheeseheadDJ

I did & whats your point ? Bush did not do this to us OBOZO did !!!!

      • Redeye80

Blame Bush as much as you want. The reality is Obama pushed this program as his signature law. This is his mess. He owns it. Of course, guys like you will never admit it.

      • Kevin Brown

Damn right!! Bush is a hell of a lot better than what we have. If you disagree with that, then your an idiot!

      • Alex Sawyer

Voted for him once, and learned my lesson. Never voted for Obama. Both parties are corrupt and completely out of touch with this country.

      • Panors77

So what?? Bush is better than your comrades Gore and BO any day of the week and at least Bush was a legal president according to the constitution being born a US Citizen on US soil.

      • Beth Mast

        yes

      • manstrom

Yes I did and I would vote for him again, too!!

        • Oldfart

An intelligent man. Voting against his best interests. That makes sense. Vote for the guy who reduced taxes for the rich and starved the government of revenue and started two wars without funding them and put us all in this economic quagmire. Whose CIA tortured people with his permission. And a whole list of other things that I have forgotten about.

          • manstrom

Yawn……Yes, he reduced my taxes! The best we ever had, though was Ronald Reagan. The worst? Obama, by far!!

          • Oldfart

Ronald Raygun? The guy who sold weapons to Iran? Yeah, I remember him. Doubled the National Debt. Raised taxes several times to cover the revenue he cut. Except for Bush, the worst president ever. Keep it up. You’re batting 1000.

      • I Troll Libtards

I sure did. I loved unemployment under 5% and record revenues to the government and my MUCH lower premiums.

    • Karen Bucanelli Tursi

So much for the “golden years,” huh? Our children will have nothing!!!

      • tired

The old age is NOT Golden years anyways! They should be called the GRAY years!

      • Rina VanKleef

Take care of yourself. Your kids are not entitled to your money anyway.

    • Abby Sapp

Prayers are with you Mr. Ritter (and all of your family). This is going to be one hell of a fight, but every single one of us has to put our “dukes” up and get it done.

    • Gunner

A family that sticks together, grows together. Family support is the best bond one person can ever ask for in life. I just wish everyone would feel this way about family and stick together

I DON’T LIVE OFF THE SYSTEM ASSHOLE IM 64

    • Charles Martin

Take my citizenship you POS, I bet my 25 years of army combat training (19D) you could not. I have read your other post, you are a whining baby who believes and passes unfounded rumors and hate. It is people like you that do not deserve the freedoms I have fought for you to have. You need to take a hard look at what you believe and what you think a democracy is. Facts are those cost were going up anyway. I will repeat what I have tole others, I do not like the ACA and do not think Obama is a good potus. But he has done better than any republican sense Ike. I did not vote for him in 2008, as I was on a 2 week recon for a new route in iraq that avoided insurgents from syria. I am now ans always have been a Hilary supporter. Perhaps it is time for you to go back into the job market if you raised a family that is not skilled enough to support itself. Mine is doing fine.

      • Andrew Ritter

Most of my kids have a college degree which they paid for themselves without any loans or help from anyone. It’s nearly impossible, in this economy, for people to find jobs that aren’t in fast food or retail at minimum wage. Our current economic situation was started by Bush (I’m not a fan of his) and has been made worse by Obama. Years ago, families helped each other. People didn’t go on Food Stamps and Welfare. When things got tough, families helped each other. My kids, upon their return home, will not be sucking off of me or the government. As a matter of fact, they’re returning with that understanding. As a Republican, I would not make any excuses for George W. Bush. It’s a shame that, as an apparent Democrat, you would prefer to make excuses for Barack Obama. Too many people think party first and country last. I do not. If you have a problem with my posts then, perhaps, the problem is yours. That having been said, this is a free country and we’re all entitled to our opinions. While we obviously don’t agree, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your service. And, for the record, I am not a POS.

        • Charles Martin

I agree, both our parties are to blame for our economic condition, the loss of manufacturing jobs was driven, not accidental, by leaders of both parties over the last 40 years.
I applaud you helping your family, and encourage any of you to take food stamps if they could qualify (I doubt they could, Unless destitute) As I am a socialist, not a democrat, I believe in government assistance to get people back on their feet. I also believe in providing a strong home network for friends and family to make productive americans.
Perhaps the problem is mine, as it would never occur to me to ask people I do not agree with to leave this country. I am also an atheist, but do not get bent out of shape when others worship or enjoy christmas. If you have recanted your thoughts on my right to citizenship in this country, then I would retract my POS comment, as it is one I save for only the lowest of the low.

          • Andrew Ritter

Ok. It seems that we agree more than we disagree. I didn’t know you were an Atheist. Even though I’m a Christian, I find that most Atheists agree with the principles this country was founded on, such as Penn Jillette. I’d rather have someone like you as a citizen than some other people I know who do not believe in our Founders’ vision for this Republic. I’m really kind of sensitive about this family thing. Too many people have sloughed off their responsibilities on others. My family and I have performed volunteer work at nursing homes for about 40 years. I refuse to put my mother in one and would rather have her here than to farm her out. Yes, I know there are instances where sending a loved one to a facility like that is necessary. I just don’t think that it should ever be a matter of convenience. I am rather opinionated on some subjects. That just happens to be one of them. I believe in personal responsibility. You rely on yourself, first, and on your loved ones next. I think that government help should be the last resort and that it should only be temporary. Too many go to their government first and we end up paying for it through taxes.

          • Charles Martin

I also helped my mother take care of her father, for his last 5 years. He had alzheimer’s and an ostomy bag, and it was a difficult trying time for her. And it was the right thing to do. In his last few months, he had to be put in private facility, and it most likely shortened his life by 1 or 2 years. The care there was terrible.
As a soldier I learned to take a hand when it was offered, but not to look for it. There are far to many young people in this country that just want to look for the hand. Not most, or even a near majority, just too many. There are still plenty of those under 30 that want to work and build something for the future. It is our job, IMO, to make a country in which they can do that very thing.
I am for a heavy tax burden, near 50% for all would be fine by me, But only, Only once 90% of the waste is gone. I know that will never happen, so the current tax rate may be the best we can work with. And so spending must be cut. I know that sounds like crazy talk from the left, but facts are facts. Military acquisition cut, not benefits to soldiers. Means testing for SS and Much more oversight for those on food stamps, sec 8 housing, and TANF. I also want heavy regs on banking, their abuses do far more damage than any number of welfare queens.

      im calling BS Ritter.

      • Andrew Ritter

Sorry. I’m not saying anything that’s not true. You should be able to wrap your mind around the fact that the fact that Obamacare isn’t what we were all promised and the ramifications it’s having on people. At least you and I are brave enough to put our pics and real names on our contributions. I wouldn’t do that and then blow smoke up people’s rear ends. What I said is true. Sorry if it doesn’t fit in with your worship of our current Prez.

        • Emmitt Rudd

racist. you assume i worship the president cause im black? talk about pre-judging. I know this is going to shock you Ritter but I dont like Presidnet Obama, I just simply think you hate him so much you make up a bunch of stuff and spout it on the internet to justify your hate. For the record I don’t like watermelon nor do I dance in minstrel shows. I can not dunk a basketball and am not on welfare. I do, however love fried chicken, but then again who does’nt?

          • Andrew Ritter

Sorry but I had no idea from your pic that u were black. I’m not a racist, either. Some of my best friends are black. I’ve even dated a few when I was younger.

          • Emmitt Rudd

most white folk do “date” black women. i give you credit for admitting it in public.

          • fuzzier_joe

Shame on you for using the “racist card” when someone slaps back after YOU started by calling him a liar.

          • Emmitt Rudd

i call a spade a spade smokin’ Joe. Someone assumed by the tone of my skin that I loved Obama. Yes this is racist. Joe I’m sure you are a racist too so go back to making jokes about me drinking malt liquor and wiping my greasy chicken lips on a purple sweater. (That is behind my back to my face you will brag about your black friends)

    • J Jones

I feel your pain. My family had to move in with my parents and sell our home in fear we would lose everything due to the government furloughs and the government shut down. We want to purchase another home but are again in fear of what may happen in January. Will we have another government shut down?? I don’t know but it’s people like my husband and others like him, who work for the Military in the Reserves and a a civilian DOD employee, who end up paying for it. I just wish they would impeach him already!!!

      • Linda Bartram

why don’t the military turn on the son of a bvitch, tell me is your husband going to kill people who have guys if they don’t hand them over.i don’t have any ,i feelo sorry for my nephew hes in the navy 17 years he makes $8.000 month plus all the other free stuff’

        • ConnieJ

Obama has gutted the military of most of the officers who disagree with any of his anti-American policies. He’s only keeping those officers who are willing to fire upon civilians when he declares Martial Law.

          • Rina VanKleef

You are a liar. You can just move out of my country. We don’t need any more crazies. We are all full up here.

You have got to be kidding me. YOUR country? This isn’t YOUR country. You have no right to tell anyone they have to leave. But you seem to like how the European countries are run and want to ‘fundamentally transform’ this country and I would suggest you relocate to a country that more suits your crazy idea’s that are against everything the Constitution stands for. But that’s your choice.

You’re a special kind of special aren’t ya? So, you’re Mom is on Medicare. People on Medicare HAVE a government insurance policy already so there should have been NO REASON for her to sign up for the ACA. Blame the right people. Maybe your kid should have gotten a college degree that would have ensured him a good job. He also should have gotten a job somewhere where he is valued a little more. Any employer that cut hours because of “Obamacare” is not someone who values their employees. I suspect it’s more about your children not being personally responsible. I was paying 1500.00 a month – with a 12,700.00 deductible. Now, under obamacare rules, I am paying 700 a month with a 6300.00 deductible. Yes, I voted for him twice. And I would vote for him AGAIN if I could. Shame on you, you POS.

  • Vegas Diceman

He should go to a cash pay office. Several have already started this practice. Many have also started concierge offices. So if you like your Doctor you may pay more but you still can have them.

If we don’t pull this thing apart all at once, or piece by piece, it WILL BE the downfall of this great nation.

    • GaylePutt

My dad practiced in “the good old days”. He had one nurse and one office girl – me. He wasn’t rich but we lived well and had all we needed. He made house calls – until he got older – He’d give freebies to patients whose birthday it was, or who’d lost weight when dieting. One patient lost his job and he didn’t charge him til he was on his feet again. If our community police came for his services (to pronounce someone dead) he’d drop what he was doing and go help them. The other doctors in the building shared an xray machine, contracted for an outside lab and shared an office manager. When I started working for Dad in the 70’s, office visits were $9.00. When I left 8 years later, they were $13.00. Yeh,

      medicine sure is better now.

      • Karen Bucanelli Tursi

You are blessed to have had a dad like yours. Those were the “good ole days” when people cared more about people than the almighty dollar.

        • GaylePutt

Thank you. We had/have many doctors in our family. My grandfather also owned a drug store to help make ends meet. I met a woman once who said she “recognized” my maiden name from her childhood (she was 60ish), I asked her where she was raised and when she told me, I knew it was my grandfather’s drug store that was in her neighborhood. She said the nicest things about him and said he’d always flavor their spring tonic so it didn’t taste so bad. lol. I never knew him so it was nice to hear such stories. And as someone in another post mentioned, malpractice is ridiculous. If we’d just enact torte reform, that might help relieve the high price of care as well.

  • Tony Baker

So Thats //Hope and Change another peice of America Gone!!

  • shrgngatlas

Yeah, and I’ll bet he was like those others who said they became doctors to help people. Well, it’s obvious he was only in it for the money. How dare him think he should live better than the rest of us off the misfortunes of sick people? All doctors should be FORCED to work in ObamaCare for minimum wage. That would be the fair thing to do.

(I’ll bet there’s some liberals, somewhere who are probably saying this in all seriousness. Liberalism IS a mental illness.)

  • Live_Free_Or_Die

MSM can keep spinning Obamakazi like it is yarn but as Dr’s drop/retire it is fall apart and hopefully liberalism will take a back seat for years!

  • http://www.alaskalive.net/ Alaskalive.net

I verified this article by calling the Doctor’s Office. Yes, this is real. I know first hand as I know of one local Assisted Living home that had 8 residents, old people who had to be taken care of that shut down directly related to Obamacare. This has to be wide spread.

Shame it has to come to this… “Pass the law so we can see what’s in it…” And of course, this new revelation — the medicine you take – and perhaps have been taking for years MAY not be available under Obamacare… In some instances, particularly if it is a high-priced med, if it is available, you may have to pay a co-pay equal to 50% of the price out of pocket. If it is not available under Obamacare, and you need it to stay alive, you will have to purchase it out of pocket – and the further good news — it will not count against your new deductible… Some meds can run as much as $6000 a month…. Oh yeah, affordable healthcare… Bullshit from the master bullshitter… Vote democrap again folks…they are continuing to screw you… Oh yeah, and volunteer firefighters may go away also — the towns will have to treat them as employees and purchase obummercare for them… What do you think your local taxes are going to do???

    • fuzzier_joe

lol… while I’m sure he doesn’t like it, it’s not worth investing $30,000 to come into electronic “compliance” when he’s approaching retirement anyway. It’s simple common sense.

  • missy753

    Obama’care’ is a TAX

  • Tammy Finn Petrick

I was laid off my job at a hospital in September and was told that me and the others (there was plenty of us) were laid off partly because of the Obamacare plan. Just think before it is all over when you go to the hospital there will be less people to take care of you or your loved ones. Then decide how much you love this so called President of ours. Happy to say I was smart enough to not vote for him in either election. Sorry to say that many of my fellow Americans didn’t see the impending dome that I thought was so obvious. God Bless America Please! We sure do need some help with this.

  • Roger

A Kentucky doctor who took out a local newspaper ad saying he was closing his practice “due to the policies of Obamacare” is shutting down his practice because of federal requirements to transfer from paper to electronic records.

Dr. Stephen Kiteck of Somerset, Ky., said the financial burden of electronic records is “too much of a burden to overcome” and that he didn’t want to “make a long-term investment” in his small medical practice.

Though Kiteck’s ad blames Obamacare, the electronic health care incentive programs were part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in 2009 — the federal stimulus act — and not part of the Affordable Care Act, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Kiteck said he is approaching retirement age, and that he and his office are “computer illiterate,” adding that he would need special training to add electronic records. He said it would be a financial burden and take “thousands of man hours or woman hours to get the records on the computer.”

Analysis from earlier this year showed that electronic health records have not produced expected savings in health care costs.

    • fuzzier_joe

And the “lack of savings” should have been no surprise. There’s very little interoperability between all the third party marketed EMR (electronic medical record) programs. it does almost NOTHING to reduce duplication of services.

What isn’t mentioned about forcing doctors to go electronic is the VAST increase of information those same doctors are required to gather under the act. It ADDS to the amount of time required to process patients into clinics, offices, and hospitals !!

When Doctors feel the pinch most of the rest of us have they just quit ? Through the recession they have continued to live like Kings & Queens now it’s time for them to join the crowd.Crybabies.

    • fuzzier_joe

What BS !! Physicians have been feeling the “pinch” of reduced payments for over 10 years. Now, it’s a BIGGER reduction at the point at which doctors can’t increase patient load any further without it hurting quality of service.

Don’t speak of that which you do not know.

      • Danny Murdock

Here’s one thing I know for sure.last year my wife went to the ER.The Doc spent 20 minuets with her out of six hours and some extra time ordering up $11,000 worth of test.Had he bothered to look at the site of the pain and pay attention to the symptoms the Shingles diagnosis would have likely been easy. For this he charged $1000.Plus all she left with was a referral to another doctor, for $12000 the diagnosis was “I don’t know”.I also can see what is parked in the clearly labeled Doctors Only parking ,you know the only parking right up in front of the building.I work on houses,I not only see where they live but what is inside the house as well.So yeah I can speak a little.

Obviously any doctor who is computer illiterate must be a quack. What bull…

There are these things called “books” and “journals” which keep docs up to date on treatments and outcomes. Check ‘em out !!

      • Oldfart

Since this guy, an intelligent doctor, could not bother to take the time to learn to use a computer, something which I did on my own and which a friend of mine, a doctor, did on his own, both of us now in our 70’s, I have a feeling this doctor stopped reading medical journals a long time ago.

  • Dude

This Doctor chose to get out. What is more likely is that many doctors will form private groups outside of Obamacare and medicare. They will serve those who decide to opt out of the federal system. It is likely that their fee structures will be much more competitive and accessible than what will happen under controlled centralized medicine.
