“…we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson.”

– President Obama talking to reporters alongside Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang.

President Obama has insulted the United States of American, a nation founded on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This news won’t come across very welcoming to those families who lost a loved one during the Vietnam War.

After a meeting with Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang Thursday, President Obama openly said to the press that Vietnamese Dictator Ho Chi Minh, one of the worst tyrants in Eastern Asia was inspired by America’s Founding Fathers, according to Fox News.

Wait, Obama likened Ho Chi Minh, dictator, murder and tyrant to that of Thomas Jefferson?

In the meeting, Tan Sang brought a copy of the letter to President Obama, that Ho Chi Minh had sent to President Harry Truman where the communist dictator expressed his desire to cooperate with the United States.

Obama said, after 67 years, the United States and Vietnam are finally enjoying that relationship Ho described. After all, Ho had been “inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson,” Obama continued.

The point Obama was making:  If only Ho and Truman could have come together like Sang and Obama did this week, many tragedies would have been avoided, according to Fox News.

So, are they saying that the Vietnam War was a complete waste?

While Jefferson didn’t do everything right, and he had moments where he was fired up, it is humiliating and insulting to think that Jefferson, the Third president of the United States inspired the hateful, murderous and evil career of the Vietnamese dictator. Ho slaughtered his opponents mercilessly including peasant farmers who were just trying to survive. It is reported that close to a million people were murdered in Ho’s attempt to remain dictator. Even during the final U.S. retreat, thousands of of Vietnamese were put to death, according to Fox News.

Ho used Lenin’s tactics, murder, terror and reeduction to obtain and expand his power, according to Fox News.   And imagine, President Obama says that Thomas Jefferson, signer of the Declaration of Independence, one who fought to preserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, was the inspiration behind this madness.

And for the 147,683rd time I’m left wondering, “Is he THAT dumb, or just that evil?”

    • skhpcola

Meh. He really is just that evil. It is to the point that only willfully ignorant people support this usurper and monster. And the vast majority of those people are filthy statist trash,

Is fucking satire? Because I am laughing my ass off. As a person borned in Saigon, South Vietnam, I grew up taught to despise Ho Chi Minh by family especially my ARVN grandfather. Learning more about the history of Vietnam, I made the realization he was not so bad. “Dictator” indicates your ignorance and American biased views. He would have been democratically elected had the US not cancel the elections. Plus, Vietnam had not been communists, had Truman read Ho’s petitions for independence. They supported the Ngo Dinh Diem, dictator of South Vietnam, who persecuted Buddhists as well as rigging elections winning over a hundred per cent of the actual voters. The reason he got into power was rigging referendum. Ultimately, he was assassinate unpopular amongst his own people. Since when is Fox News reliable? That is biased conservative programming. BBC and Vice News are more reliable than that garbage. This excuse of article is understandable for someone who did research off Fox News and had not live in Vietnam. Ignorance of Americans never cease to amuse me.
