Obamanomics: Nearly 50% of College Grads Underemployed

This is what happens when you elect people who hate the free market:

A new study finds that 48% of recent college graduates are now in jobs that do not require a bachelor’s degree, and 37% hold jobs that require just a high school diploma.

The study, titled “Why Are Recent College Graduates Underemployed? University Enrollments and Labor Market Realities,” was conducted by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity using employment data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“Student-loan programs and federal assistance programs are based on some sort of implicit assumption that we’re training people for the jobs of the future,” says Richar Vedder, director of the center and a professor emeritus at Ohio University. “In reality, a lot of them are not.”

The study found that the proportion of over-educated workers is on the rise.

This has a direct impact on the unemployment levels of the black community, as only 18 percent of black Americans have a college degree.  If people with college degrees are taking the jobs blacks traditionally took, it leaves them out of luck.

It’s trickle down poverty, or, business as usual in the collectivist economy.

I’ll try to be nice about this, but shouldn’t anybody who is pursuing a degree also pursue where that degree might be useful. There’s nothing wrong with pursuing an aviation degree of any kind, but where the Eff are those degrees going to be applicable? Is Boeing hiring? Lockheed Martin? ?

Puhleeze, people, use your brain cells for something other than a filler in your cranium!

I love the idea of becoming President of the United States, but what kind of chance would I stand if 30 million of us decided to be that person? Hmmm…

Obama does not hate the free market nor is he a socialist or muslim. He is a relatively conservative Democrat who happens to be mixed race. For a large variety of reasons, his presidency has caused the Republicans, a noble party, to go off the rails.
