Two Six-year-olds Suspended for Playing with Imaginary Guns

Zero tolerance in a Brave New World:

No one is debating the importance of keeping children safe. The question being asked is what’s child’s play and what’s not?

Controversy at a Talbot County school after two six-year-old boys were suspended while playing cops and robbers during recess and using their fingers to make an imaginary gun.

“It’s ridiculous,” said parent Julia Merchant

This is the second time a Maryland child has been suspended for such play. Earlier this month, six-year-old Rodney Lynch was suspended from his Montgomery County school after pretending to fire an imaginary gun more than once.

Common sense has gone away in the US. The socialist libs are running everything now. These whiny snively libs should be taken out behind the wood shed and horsewhipped. It would not cure them but it would be fun and I could use the exercise.

    My
son was suspended for a water gun during show and tell at 5 years old.
ANd told by the principal. Even if he made his finger like a gun. Its
and expulsion. He cried and cried he was a bad boy. My 14 year old got
suspended from public school for 3 days for flicking a piece of paper
with a rubberband during non class time with a friend. It was a
considered a weapon. He was really uspet his rubberband is a weapon!

I really feel sorry for the children in today’s society. They don’t have much of a childhood anymore. Why make a child feel so bad about himself because of something like this? It’s stupid. The school just ruined another child’s school experience. Job well done!!! NOT!! How adults became such idiots-I’ll never know.
