Since we told Obama voters this would happen and they voted for him anyway, shouldn’t this madness be levied on Obama voters?
President Obama is taking a tough opening stance in talks over deficit reduction, pushing Republicans to accept a plan that calls for $1.6 trillion in new tax revenue over the next ten years, according to reports.
The figure is double the $800 billion last discussed by the White House and House Speaker Boehner (R-Ohio) during their 2011 negotiations on raising the debt-ceiling limit.
Good God. There should no longer be any doubt… this administration is now operating in very, very dangerous fiscal territory. John Boehner is the only thing standing in the way of Obama’s economy destroying tax policy, and Boehner supported TARP, NDAA the Patriot Act and let Dems bully him on the debt ceiling.
Tough times ahead, folks. Now is certainly not the time to stop fighting. We’re the only barrier left standing.
