Back on September 18th I wrote a post that exposed the Occupy Wall Street protests for what they are… anarchists, leftist organized astro-turf rallies. Since then the protests have exploded into other cities and the collaboration happening across the board is astonishing. Well, both extremely ironic and astonishing.
You see, the protestors have a message of rebellion against big government, big corporations and the rich in general. They’re being coordinated by straight up anarchists and socialists, and much of the messaging has been downright bizarre.
When I mention coordination and collaboration I’m understating what I view as an unprecedented attempt to disrupt the economic engine of America. Something very deep, very troublesome is being coordinated and at a level previously unseen.
In this post I’ll show you that federal Representatives, the worlds powerful elite, anarchists, Hollywood millionaires and global socialists/communists groups are collaborating on messaging.
WE ARE LEGION (ANONYMOUS)
We’ll start with this strange video put out by the anarchist group Anonymous.
Let’s see. The video is being promoted on YouTube, a company bought by Google, which is managed by billionaires. The video was likely produced using sofwtare created by a big corporation. The video talks about the ability to share our lives across the web, but fails to mention this is only possible due to Capitalism and for-profit social media companies.
The irony keeps going. The video calls for the use of cell phones, computers, the internet and technology to help spawn a revolution, but fails to mention all of these products are corporate generated and create wealth.
The narrated message calls for viewers to hack the system and bring it all down, then claims it’s not an anarchist effort.
And possibly the strangest part of the video is the use of the phrase “We are Legion.” Wikipedia says the following as an explanation of Legion.
Legion is a group of demons referred to in the Christian Bible. The New Testament outlines an encounter where Jesus healed a man from Gadarenes possessed by demons while traveling, known as Exorcising the Gerasenes demonic.
An exact quote of the referenced scripture reads as follows.
And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), “What is thy name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion: for we are many.”
“We are Legion” in this particular story was supposedly the response given by the demons that possessed the man.
FRANCES FOX PIVEN & RUSSELL SIMMONS
Frances Fox Piven is a radical leftist Professor at the City University of New York. Her invitation to speak at the “Occupy Wall Street” General Assembly is fitting considering the following:
Piven was married to her long-time collaborator Richard Cloward until his death in 2001.[1] Together with Cloward, she wrote an article in the May 1966 issue of The Nation titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” advocating increased enrollment in social welfare programs in order to collapse that system and force reforms, leading to a guaranteed annual income.[3][4] This political strategy has been referred to as the “Cloward–Piven strategy“.[5] During 2006/07 Piven served as the President of the American Sociological Association.[6]
(emphasis mine)
Not only was Fox-Piven’s message bizarre, the method through which is was delivered was, shall we say, unique?
Frances Fox Piven’s career has been spent brainwashing students to the point of them becoming mindless drones. It must indeed be moving for her to now stand in front of the product she helped create, and see them repeat to her exactly what she says… word for word.
Hip-Hop industry titan Russell Simmons was also seen leading the mindless robots in weird chants. Ironically, Simmons lead them in chants against the system and the rich, but failed to mention he is worth an estimated $325 million.
WORKHORSE PUBLICITY
The message on the streets, and it’s delivery mechanism, can be a bit jumbled. But as far as a broader media message and press relations front, the “grassroots occupiers” have the help of one of New York’s finest PR Firms.
The “Occupy Wall Street†movement has swelled into a circus of left-wing causes, with celebrity visits and supportive blogs sprouting across the web. But as of today, the burgeoning protest movement can count on the services of a high-end PR firm to help get its discombobulated messages across in a slick, easy-to-digest narrative.
The Manhattan-based Public Relations firm Workhorse Publicity sent out an unsolicited e-mail blast entitled “Occupy Wall Street: News From the Front†to various media outlets, socialites, and celebrities, according to the New York Daily News.
The P.R. firm has reportedly worked with Saks Fifth Avenue and Mercedes Benz. In the email blast, the firm included black and white images from the protest, and its CEO released a statement that “We have no agenda and our service in this regard is simple: Publicize the message as the march continues.“ It also included the tagline â€the Revolution will not be editorialized.â€
In other-words, expect a more positive spin to start flowing into major media outlets in the days and weeks to come.
THE GREATEST FINANCIAL THEFT IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND
Not surprisingly, but not without a level of outrage, powerful men responsible for the greatest financial theft in the History of mankind are suddenly symapthetic to the Occupy Wall Street campaign?
Asked about the protests during his appearance before Congress’s Joint Economic Committee, Mr. Bernanke said people are blaming “with some justification the problems in the financial sector for getting us into this mess.â€
“At some level, I can’t blame them,†he said, pointing to an unemployment rate that remains stuck above 9%.  Americans are “dissatisfied with the policy response here in Washington,†the Fed chief warned lawmakers.
The Protesters are even calling for Barack Obama to show up, attend and be a part of their message. They claim Obama is on their side.
I cannot believe that President Obama has not made an effort himself to reach out to organizers, to the people participating in Occupy Wall st.. since he is showing such veracity lately going after these big corps in all of his speeches. Insert sarcasm if you want … maybe he is saying what he thinks we want to hear, to mollify, but, over the past 3 days he has said a lot about corporations, and we should make him stick to it.
Never mind that Obama’s administration will likely go down as the most corrupt, most corporate/special interest driven administration in History. The “organizers” of the Occupy campaigns actually believe he’s on their side.
Also, Co-chairs of Congressional Progressive Caucus applaud Occupy Wall Street protests.
“Actually, I can understand [the protesters'] sentiment, frankly,” he said.
“And at the same time the decision not to inject capital into the banks, but to effectively relieve them of their bad assets and then allow them to earn their way out of a hole leaves the banks bumper profits and then allows them to pay bumper bonuses. And the contrast between the two I think is a large contingent [of both the Occupy Wall Street protests and the Tea Party movement].â€
DICK DURBIN VS. BANK OF AMERICA
Yesterday I wrote a post for the Illinois Patriot Action Network that explained the audacity of Dick Durbin in telling BofA customers to leave the bank over fees he’s responsible for. Durbin added his amendment to the Frank-Dodd bill, forcing banks to scale down fees on debit card transactions. As a result, Bank of America had to make up for it with the monthly $5.00 fee. Apparently, according to Durbin, that’s the bank’s fault, even though no one was complaining about the previous transaction fees (consumers) before Durbin stick himself into it.
Michael Moore is jumping on the “us vs the rich” bandwagon as well.
Michael Moore last night told a sold out audience at Vanderbilt University to “occupy everything” in order to restore democracy in an America he characterized as dominated by corporate greed and corruption.
Of course, Moore fails to mention that he’s worth $50 million and tried to sue for more.
The following have either advocated for, attended or helped promote the Occupy Wall Street effort.
- Michael Moore – $50 million
- Susan Sarandon – $50 million
- Mark Ruffalo – $10 million
- Roseanne Barr – $80 million
- Alec Baldwin – $65 million
- Lupe Fiasco – $8 million
- Yoko Ono – $500 million
- Russell Simmons – $325 million
Interesting that protestors suggest their fight is against the rich and elite, yet they surround themselves with the rich and elite. They’re funded by the rich and elite, and they’re represented by the rich and elite.
I think the deeper story here is the movement they claim is coming into play really is. I mean, we’ve seen this class warfare for years, but this past week has unleashed an unprecedented amount of aggressive attacks against free-market prosperity in America.
It’s either a collaborative effort, or it’s an indirect “let’s all go now” attack on our nation. Regardless of which it is, the results could be damning.
Watch this all closely. Educate yourself and those close to you.
More to come.

And why should this “Days of Rage” be any different? Please see Tony Cartilucci’s excellent work on all the links at http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/
In fact he covers #OccupyWallStreet in his latest post:
http://landdestroyer.blogspot.com/2011/10/land-destroyer-occupywallstreet-guide.html
For a brief intro, see my posts derived from his work about earlier “Days of Rage” at:

and the follow-up (excellent video):

LandDestroyer is a conspiracy monger. At first I thought he might now things I didn’t until I started reading things I knew absolutely to be untrue. He thought ALL the arab protests were CIA plots! As if those reliable dictators in Tunisia and Egypt were something the US and Israel wanted to get rid of. The Israelis are still in tears over losing Mubarak.
Libya, you bet it was a conspiracy and it was obvious. There were no such signs with Egypt and Tunisia and if you were following them it was easy to spot.
And here is a report by Webster Tarpley titled: “Don’t Let Soros Hijack Occupy Wall Street: Webster Tarpley Reports”.

I’d say it is a little late (and deceptive) for that when Soros is probably the master puppeteer/chief pilot of the whole thing.
SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS THE PLANNED OR LET US SAY, THE DREADED CHAOS WHICH WILL PERMIT THE PUPPET iMPOSTER TO DECLARE MARTIAL LAW.
JUST THE EXCUSE HE NEEDED.
THIS IS FRIGHTENING.
WHAT CAN BE DONE IF THERE IS NO ELECTION?
GO TO WAR?
Have any of you heard of Hoovertown? We need to set up our own “Obamatown” in Washington at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. We need to do it now!
It is truly unfortunate that “big government, big corporations, and the righ, in general,” have pushed to the common workers of this country into a second-CLASS corner such that radical extremist groups could infiltrate and possibly take over a legitimate reason for protest! Dick
This is a great video that shows how stupid they are. Like this video states, I want them to talk, talk, talk…because they expose who they really are. It also exposes who are directing this, with an official newspaper made by broke people? They expose their power source, second they expose more Democrats into being Socialists, Marxists and Communists. Now it us up to parents of these FEW ‘useful idiot’ ‘students’ to the FACTS & TRUTH, and not agenda’s and FEELINGS, which is the pulse of the Liberal/Progressives these days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6CDbJ5b4Ro&feature=player_embedded#!
This full of things that are untrue or irrelevant. Examples:
The thing comparing Anonymous to demons: Seriously? “Legion” came from the Roman army’s organizational system, and has since become a much broader term. I seriously doubt Anonymous was trying to invoke Christian imagery; and if they were, they were KIDDING.
The parts about how these people are using tools made by corporations is completely irrelevant. Trying to fix the system from within is no less legitimate than stepping outside it.
Frances Fox-Piven: A person choosing to speak at a protest does not mean they see the protest as a carbon copy of their philosophy. It means they sympathize with them to some extent, to be sure, but the leap from that to “they must be employing this obscure strategy this lady once advocated for” is quite silly.
Russell Simmons and other celebrities: It’s not about one person. These people have added their voices to the movement, but I seriously doubt you could find anyone affiliated with Occupy Wall Street who would say their opinions are a driving force. Decisions at Zucotti Park are being made by a form of consensus-based direct democracy.
PR Firm: Oh em gee, a movement trying to make sure they’re heard through traditional media? HORRIBLE!
Support from Ben Bernancke, Democratic politicians, et al: Again, irrelevant. If the DNC were to voice its support, great; but if they tried to direct the messaging, it would not fly.
These protests are actually a threat to the Democrats because they are protesting against Obamas top donors. Wall Street. HIs re-election is becoming less likely all the time, and attention on the Democrats massive failures at this time is not what they want, nor is it something wall street wants, because Europe and the Euro is becoming unstable, and the contagion may spread over here and they’ll want another bailout.
What to make of Democratic,DNC support? What are they gonna do? They have to try to appease their base, the base they’ve been crapping all over from day one.
The prostesters aren’t the elite, or sponsored by the elite or you’d see slick posters, they’d be well stocked with supplies and what ever they’d need.
The list above is ridiculous because they are donating money to these protests.
They don’t have anyone like Glen Beck or the Fox News channel promoting them, in fact they were ignored and are sneered at especially on CNN.
Ask yourself one question, is the government working for you? Do your representatives actually represent you, or do they vote overwhelmingly against their constituencies and provide more cutouts, loopholes, and subsidies for their donors?
“Frances Fox-Piven: A person choosing to speak at a protest does not mean they see the protest as a carbon copy of their philosophy.”
Nice try at deflection, but the cadre’s allowing her to speak (as opposed to not allowing John Lewis in Atlanta) as well as their response to her is TOTALLY INDICATIVE of their absorption of her program and of their agreement with her description of America and their shared goals for destroying America, and “fundamentally transforming” America into some bizarro “workers paradise” where all decisions can be made with group-speak.
“or It means they sympathize with them to some extent, to be sure, but the leap from that to “they must be employing this obscure strategy this lady once advocated for†is quite silly.”
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK OBAMA HAS BEEN DOING SINCE 2008?
OVERWHELMING OUR SOCIAL SERVICES NET.
“Russell Simmons and other celebrities: It’s not about one person. These people have added their voices to the movement, but I seriously doubt you could find anyone affiliated with Occupy Wall Street who would say their opinions are a driving force.”
No one said they were a driving force what we are noting and amateur shills like you are trying to deflect is that useful idiots like multi-millionaire media tools like Simmons are doing their best to legitimize this BS protest.
“Decisions at Zucotti Park are being made by a form of consensus-based direct democracy.”
Is THAT what the psycho-theater is? Is that how you commissars will decide who gets a bullet in the brain and who goes to the gulags after the next “Great Purge”? (Look it up, you dupe).
Here, deflect this: the reason the owners of Zuccotti Park are going along with letting scum defecate all over their property and “protest greed” is because they just received a grant of ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE MILLION IN TAX PAYER $ from the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION for more BS “green” projects.
Turns out that Joe McCarthy was right after all. We should have listened. Who would have thought that the United States would be taken over by fascism, but it’s happening right before our very eyes!
Money laundering criminals now have the right environment to shift the blame, they have hussein and his brotherhood on their side so the shift can be done in a most grandiose scale. And we all know who hussein’s enemies are, but before they get to the rest of We The People they must first chop the head off of their arch enemy a True Jew… it’s all staged by moveon, soros (and the likes of it), then performed by rinos and dinos for the true criminals to blame those they cannot overpower, so as usual it’s gonna be “Jews” fault.
wow. these protests are not astro turf but just like with the Tea Party, the big money moved in to co-opt. That is being resisted.
This was started by ad busters, but another group october2011.org/ was planned earlier but will overlap.
These protests are not for Obama or Democrats, in fact they are pretty much against the bailouts and the coming bailouts that are then taken on as sovereign debt. They share common cause with the protests in Ireland and Greece. Against the IMF, crony capitalism, political parties and finance collusion. There are too many problems to articulate, so statements about grievances and goals are being voted on..
One of them is that money has to be taken out of politics, and our civil liberties are being eroded, the constitution shredded.
I think it’s fair to categorize it as transpartisan. The oath keepers are there and some Ron Paulites. see here: http://dailybail.com/
Ron Paul has even offered his support. If you can go see for yourself, do it. Libertarians and progressives can make common cause..

Really, folks? You take seriously an article that opens with hasty generalizations and name-calling, KEEPS making ad hominem attacks and taking quotations out of context, and deliberately leaves them unexplicated? The writer totally misses the fact (since I’m guessing most of you folks don’t care for welfare) that Fox-Piven’s point was to “collapse the system,” and if the writer has never attended one of her classes, he has absolutely NO evidence to claim she is brainwashing students. There’s SO much wrong with the arguments here–they are so unsupported, misleading, and just plain nasty in tone–that no reasonable person ought to pay attention to them. Believe what you want, but at least find people who can make well-reasoned. well-written arguments that support your viewpoints.
Until this protest benefits anyone, there is no way of telling what the true intentions are. I will not speak for people I do not know and I will not pretend like I know what they are trying to say. None of them speak for me. My family is facing a financial crisis only because we are being taxed to death and have low paying jobs. We are hanging on with our teeth. I have yet to see anyone speak for people like me in this whole thing. Greed is not good but I wonder what the protesters really want people on wallstreet to do. They havent said yet. Until then I will observe & suffer, just like alot of other people.
